The twelve month honeymoon with the Kannada film industry as a film and audio distributor, financier is now over.  Naga Prasad who was often  been described as a messaih responsible for rescuing many prominent producers like Mahadev (Chingaari),  Anaji Nagaraj (Bheema Theeradhalli) and K.Manju (God Father) and Jayanna (Janoo)  is cutting off all his relationship with the Kannada film industry.

"Yes, I am now focused on improvement of my business in stock market. I think this was my core competence platform which I missed out all the last twelve months.  I have cut off from all my commitments in "Rajni Kantha' and "Chandra' now by making some adjustment here and there.  Now, my whole focus is on building up my stock market operations' said Naga Prasad in a conversation with Chitraloka Mega Portal.

Except for investments in distribution in films like "Vishnuvardhana' and "Alemaari', Naga Prasad lost money in all the films favoured by him.  "As a distributor I was fully involved in promoting the film. But some of the producers whom I had contacted were more interested in securing themselves than securing the film.  Even good films will not run when me lack the intention to promote it well' says Prasad.

Prasad was also heart by some media coverage about him. He does not want to quantify his losses, but says that it was a bad experiment he made in an unknown territory.
