The most talkative, bright and bubbling heroine around today from the newcomer lot is GOWRI. Hailing from an orthodox Brahmin joint family Gowri is a girl next door within a few minutes of a chat with her. A Miss Delhi University Gowri father is a vegetable merchant and her mother and ancestors are very traditional and culture loving people.
From her younger days to how she will be at the age of 25 Gowri expressed with a touch of intelligence and her observations are apt and agreeable. She performed as a child artiste in a Sharmila Tagore film in Hindi and after that she concentrated on her goals and objectives in life. Although she hails from Mumbai she studied in New Delhi University.
Gowri made her debut in Telugu film ‘Banni’ and opposite Puneeth Rajkumar this is her second film. ‘I like down south’. I cannot fill everything and anything the Bollywood asks for she grins.
I have sacrificed my golden color hair. Color it to turn black. In the same I know my responsibilities. When crores of rupees are invested on a film we have to give our best.
I am not interested in continuing in this field for more than five years. I have entered to 20 now. Any heroine should not be more than five years. At 25 I will be getting married.
What kind of a boy Gowri is looking for? I don’t have any dream boy. But the boy should like the joint family to live. Huge house with myself and my hubby and lots of cats and dogs in it, I don’t like it she says firmly.
Gowri is apt to her name. She follows her mother’s instructions when she is at home. She is on a fast on Monday. Believes in astrology and Vastu, likes diamonds and of course she loves cooking.
