The Kannada film 'Bulbul - Matadakilva' released in last one month has proved to be success in the box-office and it's celebration time in the Kannada film industry. Films which were released earlier are slowly reaching a 50-100 day run.
Sudeep starrer 'Bachchan' which was released on the festival day of Ugadi will complete a 50 day run this week and will be making way for 'Directors Special' in Triveni theatre. Though neither director Shashank nor producer Uday Mehta has not planned any celebrations so far, the film is considered an average hit and the film went on to make a record by releasing in Dubai just after it was released in Bangalore.
While 'Bachchan' finishes 50 days successfully, Chethan and Nitya Menon starrer 'Mynaa' completes a 100 day run in Sagar. 'Mynaa' will be considered the first film of 2013 to complete a 100 day in a single run and that too in almost 10 centres across Karnataka. Details of the celebration are yet awaited.
Meanwhile, the team of 'Simpleaag Ond Love Story' will be celebrating the 75 days celebrations at the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall on Wednesday evening. The three hour long celebrations will witness performances from lead pair and mementoes will be given away to the artistes and technicians who have worked for the film.
