Actor-director Jaggesh has got a flak for his comments on PAN India release from fans of various actors including Yash, Sudeep and others.
Recently, during the press meet organised to celebrate his four decade journey in the Kannada film industry, Jaggesh had said that the PAN India culture has become a curse. The actor had said that because of this culture, many other language films are being dubbed to Kannada and many are losing their jobs.
Jaggesh's comment has invited criticism from fans of various actors including Yash, Sudeep and others. It was Yash's 'KGF - Chapter 1' is said to be the first PAN India film from Kannada. Later, films of Sudeep, Darshan and others were dubbed and released in other languages. Now Puneeth's 'Yuvaratna' and Dhruva's 'Pogaru' is being released in Telugu simultaneously apart from Kannada.
Many fans are of the opinion that the PAN India release culture has extended wings to Kannada actors and because of this many Kannada actors are being recognised across India. Many have used foul language against Jaggesh's statements and the actor is very upset about this.
