The Telangana Government headed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has given permission to resume shooting and post-production activities in the state.

Cinema activities in the state were stopped for the last three months due to lock-down. Many film personalities including Chiranjeevi and others met Chief Minister and requested the Government to allow post-production as well as shooting activities in the state.

Likewise, the KCR government has given a nod to start shooting as well as post-production activities with immediate effect. The shooting and the post-production activities will resume soon with prior precautions,

However, there is no permission for screening of the films and theaters will continue to be closed till further orders.
