After Singha, actor Chiranjeevi Sarja returns with Khaki, which hits the screens from tomorrow in about 200 screens. The tale which revolves around a group of people who come together against corrupt system over civic disputes, is directed by Naveen Reddy.
Director Naveen has been in the industry for over a decade, and turns an independent filmmaker with Khaki.
While the maker say that Chiranjeevi, plays the role of a cable operator and not a cop, he has a greater purpose to serve in Khaki. It is more like a parallel policing with a difference fighting against land mafia and so on in the background of a typical commercial entertainment, the director says.
