The number of shows of The Villain have been increased in a few multiplexes. This comes on the back of negative reports for some of the big budget films of other languages. With the demand for Tamil film Sarkar that released last week and Hindi film Thugs of Hindustan that released two days ago not as expected,exhibitors had to fall back on the Kannada film that released on October 18.

The Villain in its fourth week is still running in several single screens across Karnataka. The film is running in 35 single screens in the BKT area. The shows of another Kannada film Victory 2 has also increased in some multiplexes due to the same reason.
