Despite temporary hike in ticket price for the most expected star-studded movie of the year 'The Villain’, the Kannada movie lovers have responded to it with a thumbs up. Almost every show for the next one week is booked in advance to witness the magical combination of Shivanna and Kiccha Sudeep on the big screen. 

In a first of its kind for the Kannada audience, the producer Dr. C R Manohar and all its distributors had earlier urged the fans to cooperate with the temporary hike in ticket price which seems to have worked for them positively.

The movie goers who queued up to lay hands on the tickets for 'The Villain’ where invited by the humble appeal put up on every multiplexes across the state, which reads : ‘In view of the fact that 'The Villain’ is a high budget movie, the ticket rates for multiplexes are enhanced for four days considering the well being of the producer. Movie fans are requested to cooperate.’ The Villain opens worldwide tomorrow with shows starting as early as 6 am!
