Director Prem who is planning to release 'The Villain' in the month of September, is planning to re censor the the film in the revising committee soon.

Recently, the Regional Board of Film Certification saw the film and has given an 'A' certificate. Though there are no vulgarity, the RBFC has given an 'A' certificate because of violent fights. The RBFC is ready to given an 'U' certificate, if Prem deletes some violent action shots, but Prem is not ready to do and has decided to go to the Revising Committee soon.

'The Villain' stars Shivarajakumar, Sudeep, Mithun Chakraborty, Amy Jackson and others. Prem himself has scripted the film apart from directing it. C R Manohar is producing the film under Tanvi Films banner. Girish Gowda is the cameraman, while Arjun Janya has composed the songs for the film.
