The National award winning actress Priyamani will be looking forward for a great leap in her career on Friday, September 21. She will be little tensed also as she gave glimpses of her anxiety on Thursday night during the special show of her film Charulatha which is releasing in all the four Southern language versions on the same day. Certainly a big day in the life of Priyamani.
Charulatha is being released in nearly five hundred screens in all the four Southern states in the respective languages. While the Kannada and Tamil versions of the film are original, the Telugu and Malayalam are the dubbed versions of the Tamil film which has added a little bit of comedy and some entertainment values. This is the first female oriented film to be released so big in the history of South Indian cinema. The Tamil film will also be screened in some screens abroad.
While the Kannada version of the film is being released in one hundred plus theatres, the original Tamil version is getting released in 200 plus theatres. The Telugu dubbed version which is being released by producer Allu Aravind is also getting released in over one hundred screens, while the Malayalam dubbed version which is being released by Vijaya Kumar of Seven Arts Distribution office is being released in nearly 80 screens around Kerala.
On Thursday, there was a special show organised for some select friends and well wishers of Dwarakish family and Priyamani family which was attended by many people. Kiccha Sudeep and his wife Ms. Priya Sudeep, , Actor Dharma Keerthiraj, and others. Priyamani obtained a high degree of appreciation from many of the film personalities who had watched the film on Thursday night.
Another premier show of the film was organised on Thursday night at Chennai where actor Shriram (earlier known as Srikanth), Ms Poornima Bhagyaraj and others watched the film along with director Pon Kumaran.
Some of the people who watched the film personally telephoned Priyamani to congratulate her on her top class performance.
