The Kannada Film Directors Association has decided to stay out of the 09th edition of the Bangalore International Film Festival due to various reasons.
Earlier, KANFIDA president M S Ramesh had said that the association is upset that the government nor the industry is considering the association while taking any decision particularly during the selection of directors for Puttanna Kanagal Award.
Now M S Ramesh has said that the association is being sidelined regarding the Bangalore International Film Festival and the govenment is not taking the association to consideration. So, the KANFIDA has decided to stay out of the Bangalore International Film Festival.
M S Ramesh has also written a letter to the Chief Minister regarding this.
