The teaser shooting for Shivarajakumar-Sudeep starrer 'The Villain' is all set to be held on the 21st of January. After the teaser shoot, the shooting for the film is likely to commence in the month of February.

'The Villain' is being directed by Prem after a six year gap. His last film as a director was Shivarajakumar's 100th film 'Jogaiah'. After that Prem took many projects, but could not direct a film due to various reasons. Now Prem is ready to shoot 'The Villain'. The film is being produced by C R Manohar and Arjun Janya is the music composer.

Both Shivarajakumar and Sudeep will sport a different look for this film. The heroine and the star cast of the film is yet to be finalised.
