B C Patil's daughter Srishti Patil is all set to make her debut in 'Happy New Year' being directed by Pannaga Bharana and produced by her father B C Patil.Srishti says she was looking forward to act in films and that's when she heard the story of the film and liked the plot. 'I really loved the character and wanted to work in the film. Luckily I got the chance' says Srishti Patil.

Though Srishti is making is one of the female leads in the film, she has acted in a couple of films  as a child artiste. This is the first time, she is making her debut as a female lead and Srishti is paired opposite Diganth in this film.
