Ram Reddy's much-acclaimed film 'Thithi' has won the best film award in the 1st BRICS film festival held in New Delhi. Director Ram Reddy received the best film award from minister M Venkaiah Naidu.
Earlier, the film had been to many international film festivals including Locarno, Shanghai and others. Even the film had won the best regional film at the National level. The film in the last one year has collected more than 10 awards and the recent award is just another feather in the cap.
'Thithi' is a comedy written by Ram Reddy and Ere Gowda and has been directed by Ram Reddy. The film is about the cremation rites of a head of a family and what all happens in this process is told in a comic style.
