The long pending dream of actor Naveen Krishna to turn director has finally come true with 'Girija Kalyana', a new tele-serial which will be aired in Colors Super from tonight at 9.30 PM.
Set in the 18th century, Girija Kalyana is a periodic mythological saga which tests the courage of Girije, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. In her quest to acquire superpowers to dethrone the evil king Amaradeva and to restore peace in the kingdom, she gets help from young charming prince Shankara.
The tele-serial stars Manjunath, Chethan Chandra, G K Srinivasamurthy, Rajesh, Ramesh Bhatt and others. Naveen has written the screenplay apart from directing it. Arka Media is producing the serial.
