K P Srikanth who used to be an executive producer for Company Films is all set to turn independent producer and will be producing a film for Shivarajakumar. The film being titled Tagaru - Maiyyalla Pogaru is all set to be launched on the 21st of August.

'Tagaru - Maiyyalla Pogaru' is being written and directed by Soori. Shivarajakumar had said during the press meet of 'Kaddipudi' itself, that he wants to do another film with Soori and now he is all set to act in Soori's film once again. The film will be commencing after Soori's 'Dodmane Huduga' releases on August 11th.

This time, ace photographer Mahendra Simha has been roped in as the cinematographer of the film, while Charan Raj of 'Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu' is composing the music for the film
