Marathi blockbuster Sairat which is minting money at the box-office is all set to be remade in South Indian languages and actor-producer Rockline Venkatesh will be co-producing the film along with Zee Studios. The makers announced the news officially on Saturday night during the success party of the film held at the Trident Hotel in Mumbai. Rockline Venkatesh was also present during the announcement.
'I am overwhelmed with 'Sairat' and it's a beautiful film in every way. The sould of the film is so pure and genuine that it touches your heart. I am glad that we have got an opportunity to remake the film in the South Indian languages. It is our first venture with Zee Studios and we are looking forward to a strong relationship with them' said Rockline Venkatesh.
The film will be made in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages and the film will be first made in Telugu. Nagaraj Manjule who has directed the film in Marathi, will be directing the film in Telugu
