Three Kannada films, Thithi, Godhi Banna Saadarana Maikattu and Jaggu Dada are currently being screened in theatres in the commercial capital of India, Mumbai. This is also a record of sorts making the weekend special for Sandalwood.
At no point of time has three Kannada films screened as commercial release simultaneously in any city outside Karnataka. Sandalwood film makers are therefore elated with the happening as they see it as a sign of good times for the film industry
