Vijay Raghavendra starrer 'Eradu Kanasu' was launched at the Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore. While V Manohar sounded the clap for the first shot, veteran director S K Bhagavan switched on the camera.
The title 'Eradu Kanasu' is derived from Dr Rajakumar's very famous film which was released 41 years back. Dorai-Bhagawan duo had directed the film then and Bhagawan who came as the chief guest remembered that the film was launched at the same Kanteerava Studio. Bhagavan said the film was a huge hit and ran for 36 weeks and wished that the new 'Eradu Kanasu' becomes a huge hit.
The film is being directed by Madan, a student of Adarsha Film Institute. His father Ashok Kumar is the producer of the film. Steve-Kaushik are the music directors. Karunya Ram and Prajju Pooviah play female leads to Vijay Raghavendra.
