Friday (June 12th) is the busiest day for the Kannada film industry as more than five films are likely to be launched on that day. Out of the five, three films are considered as prestigious films and all the four films are expected to be launched amidst much fanfare.
The first among the three is 'Bharjari' starring Dhruva Sarja and Rachit Ram. The film is being produced by Kanakapura Srinivas and Srikanth and is being scripted and directed by Chethan Kumar of 'Bahaddur' fame. Puneeth Rajakumar, Shivarajakumar, Ravichandran and Arjun Sarja are expected to participate in the film launch as chief guests.
R Chandru's 'Lakshmana' is being launched in the Kanteerava Studio on Friday. The film marks the debut of former minister H M Revanna's Anup son to silver screen. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be coming to the launch and will be sounding the clap for the first shot. Upendra will be directing the first shot.
Mahesh Sukhadhare's 'Happy Birthday' which marks the debut of former minister Cheluvarayaswamy's son will also be launched on the same day and at the same venue. The film is being launched with the blessings for Ambarish and the actor cum politician is likely to play a major role in the launch.
Apart from that Ganesh starrer 'Mungaru Male 2' is being launched in a low key affair at the West of Chord road Ganesh Temple.
