Actress Sanchita Shetty who started off her carrier in Kannada and went on to become a popular actress in Tamil is back to Kannada once again. The actress has silently signed a new film as a heroine and this time the actress is playing Dhananjay's heroine in 'Badmash'.
'Badmash' being produced by Kashyap and directed by Akash Srivatsa is currently under production and the shooting of the film is in full progress. Earlier, only Dhananjay was finalised as the hero. Now Sanchita Shetty who made her mark as Pooja Gandhi's friend in 'Mungaru Male' has been roped in as the heroine. After 'Mungaru Male' and few other films, Sanchita went to Tamil and became famous with films like 'Pizza 2' and 'Soodu Kavvum' and is now making a reentry to Kannada films with 'Badmash'.
The film is said to be a love story in the backdrop of the current hot and trendy topics like politics, cricket, cinema, sting operations and many more. Poornachandra Tejasvi is in charge of music while Srisha Kooduvalli is the cameraman.
