Darshan who was last seen as a patriotic star in 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna' is back with a pukka family entertainer which is not only a treat to the 'Challenging Star' fans but a treat to the family audiences.
'Bulbul' is the story of Vijay (Darshan) and his love for Cauvery (Rachitaa Ram). Both Vijay and Cauvery are childhood friends and both their fathers are also thick friends. But Vijay and Cauvery part ways in childhood as Cauvery's father moves to Switzerland on business purpose. The story starts with Cauvery returning back to India after long time. Vijay tries to woo her but Cauvery is more interested in Rishi who is the son of her father's friend. Vijay and Rishi both tries to impress her and who among the two finally impresses her is to be seen in the theatres.
The film has all the ingredients like love, action, sentiment to woo the audiences and however another main attraction of the film is the father son combination of Ambarish and Darshan. Both the actors have done a wonderful job and Darshan particularly has done a great job. He is a treat to watch in action as well as sentiment sequences.
The film has a big star cast and apart from Darshan and Ambarish, other artistes also have a big scope to act. Debutante Rachita Ram is sure a an actress to look out in the future. Sharan, Sharath Lohitashwa, Ramesh Bhatt, Tennis Krishna has done their bit easily.
Technically the film is good with ample scope for all technicians. V Harikrishna has given some hummable songs, while Krishna Kumar's cinematography looks fresh. Particularly the locales of Switzerland is a treat to watch.
Finally 'Bulbul' is a wholesome family entertainer. Don't miss it.
