Hilton House Movie Image

There is one more horror film that released this week. #9 Hilton House is not the regular kind of horror film. Narendra Babu who used to direct romantic films has done a horror film this time and therefore it is not the kind of usual ghost movie. As the title suggests it is a haunted house and the main characters are disturbed by the ghosts there. So the usual tricks of scaring the audicen is used. But apart from that the director induces some dramatic elements in to the film that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.

The film has Kiran Bhagavan, Divya Rao, Vandana, Prajna and others in the cast. A film making crew goes to a location for shooting. They begin to encounter strange happenings. But it seems that there are some villains trying to exploit them. Is it really a supernatural happening with ghosts or are there some persons behind the strange happenings? That is the surprise element in the film.

The director manages to keep the suspense element throughout the film. So the film is not only about ghosts but also has some element of suspense to it. Most of the actors are newcomers and they could have performed better. But since this is a horror film any drawbacks is not highlighted and it looks natural.

The background score by Giridhar Divan is one of the highlights of the film. He elevates the scary element in the film by a few levels. It is a very important part of a horror film and the director should thank Divan for making Hilton House music special. Another important technical contribution is by cinematographer Santhosh Kumar. His camera work keeps the narrative interesting. Overall #9 Hilton House is a typical horror film where the routine scary elements are found. If you like horror films, this will be a good timepass movie for you.
