The 100 years of Indian cinema celebration which was supposed to be held at Chennai in the first week of September has been postponed to the last week of the month as President dates was not available.
The celebrations were organised at Chennai and all the film industries were supposed to participate in the function. Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce had even announced a week's leave to the film industry for participation. Kannada cinema's well known stars were supposed to participate in the function which was supposed to be inaugurated by the President of India itself.
Now there is a change in the programme and the programme is postponed to the last week of September due to lack of availability of President's dates.
