‘Shukradase’ meaning the beginning of good fortune is the title of popular comedy actor Jaggesh starring film. Jaggesh’s brother in law N.Srinivas is the producer and this is another film after ‘Kiladi’ starring Jaggesh.
At the Jaggesh’s favorite Chodeshwari temple in Srirampuram the muhurut for the film took place. Jaggesh’s father sounded the clap board.
Tamil films top rated director P.Vasu’s brother Vimal is joining hands with Kadhir in writing screenplay and directing for the first time. Seenu is the cameraman and K.D.Venkatesh has composed the stunts. Dwarakish, Doddanna, Sadhu Kokila, Karibasavaiah are also in the cast.
Speaking to media persons soon after the muhurut Jaggesh on the verge of 100 films narrated his horrible time prior to the release of his earlier film ‘Kiladi’. There were no takers for the film in prominent areas and I have even erected the posters at Nalanda theatre and wept on that night. I prayed for God. The situation of this type should not arise for any hero.
The film fared not to the expectations and I went to Mantralaya to get the blessings of lord Sriraghavendra Swamy. On the way I met with an accident and the car in which I was traveling narrowly escaped. My car got smashed but on the return I found the collections of my film ‘Kiladi’ picking up very well in the second half. Now it had completed 50 days screening.
Jaggesh also exposed the attitude of Puttanna theatre in Bangalore. When all the other star films are in percentage basis of business, the theatre management has asked for rent. This absolutely a killing attitude of my film says Jaggesh. On the series of problems he is facing Jaggesh understood there some people who think on the basis caste.
