R M Veerabhadraiah was a Kannadiga who worked as art director in Hindi films like Jhanak Jhanka Payal Baaje and others.

In 1949 he directed the film Bharati. Sampath entered films with this film as an actor. Writer M Narendrababu wrote the screenplay, dialogues and songs for this film, making his debut.
