Films began to adopt new technologies as it progressed. The developments and improvements were quick and many. Bangalore's first film theatre was started in 1905 and was named Paramount.
It was in the Kalasipalyam area and before it became a film theatre was known as the Doddanna Hall and was a venue for cultural activities.
