As announced earlier, Sudeep starrer 'Thugs of Malgudi' which was supposed to be directed by Rakshith Shetty has been postponed indefinitely as Rakshith Shetty is busy with other projects.
Sudeep himself has confirmed that the film has been postponed. Sudeep was replying to a tweet from his fan. The fan had asked when the film will be launched, for which Sudeep has tweeted that the film has been indefinitely postponed.
'Thugs has been indefinitely postponed. Rakshith needs more time on the script as he's working on 'Avane Sriman Narayana', his next in line. My wishes are always with him' tweeted the actor.

Juhi has given her consent to act in the film and is yet to allot the dates. She will be playing a music teacher and will also be seen in a song in this film.
'Very Good 10/10' is a children film and Yashwanth Sardeshpande himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues apart from directing the film. Yashwanth intends to discuss a relevant topic about children through this film. Ramnath Kotiyan is the producer, while V Manohar will be composing the songs for the film.
The directorial debut of Pannaga Bharana, Happy New Year is all set for release and there is excitement among the film crew. Happy New Year is a multistarrer with over a dozen stars. It has one of the biggest star casts for a Kannada film. The film has five separate tracks that mingle to become a single plot. However there is no complications for the audience as it has been narrated in an entertaining way says the film team.
The cast include B. C. Patil, Saikumar, Vijaya Raghavendra, Diganth, Dhananjay, Sudharani, Shruthi Hariharan, Sonu Gowda, Margarita and Srushti Patil.
Though there are five stories in the film all of them are from the same period. The stories converge at a new year party and the suspense in all five of them are revealed.

Actor-producer Mitra on Wednesday met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and requested him to watch his latest film 'Raga' which is about the blind.
Mitra gave a memorandum to the Chief Minister asking his help to promote the film through Social Welfare Department, Education Department and Information and Public Relations Department. Mitra said that the film must be promoted through this departments.
