Dammu director Boyapati Sreenu has directed three Telugu films so far and all the three films have been big hits.
While the Power Star and director Soori combination has worked wonders in the film Jackie, it is for the first time NTR is working for Boyapati Sreenu. However Sreenu directed Balakrishna in a film like Simha which gave a fresh lease of life to the actor who had a series of flops earlier.

Yogi and Radhika Pandit starrer Alemari has opened big for the first three days which has really gone beyond the expectations of the trade. The first three days collections have surpassed the collections of all previous films of Yogi and Radhika Pandit (except Appu's film Hudugaru which was a multistarrer film which carried the biggest opening mainly because of the Power Star's charisma) who were paried for the first time in this film.

For example the first three days collections in Davanagere's Geethanjali theatre has crossed Rs. 3.20 lacs which means that the film's share knocking off its weekly rent has touched Rs. 2.30 lacs. Even if the film collets Rs. 70 thousand average in the next four days the weekly share will be around Rs. 5 crores. Normally Puneet's film will get around Rs. 8 lacs in first week, while a good Darshan, Sudeep and Upendra film will fetch around Rs. 6.50 to Rs. 7 lacs share in the first week in the same city. Alemari has created a new bench mark for a Yogi film so far.
The same trend is seen in a centre like Shimoga.
