Century Star Shivaraj Kumar's much awaited film Shiva directed by Om Prakash Rao and produced by K.P.Srikanth is presently having its shoot in Bangkok where a song featuring the lead artists is being shot. Raagini is the heroine of this film. The shooting of the film will be completed after the shooting of another item song featuring Suman Ranganath, John Kokaine in which Raagini is also making a presence.
Shivaraj Kumar says that now efforts are being made to release the film exactly on the date of the release of his first film Anand directed by Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao in 1986. The film was released on June 16. This information was disclosed by the century star while he was participating in the press meet of R.Chandru directed "Charminar' featuring Prem and Meghana Gaonkar. Shivaraj Kumar participated in a small sequence where he plays the role of a Chief guest who shows clap board for a new film titled as "Charminar' in the film. He came to the venue of the press conference straight and was part of a press meet. Many media persons were happy about his statement against the attempt to forcibly bring in the dubbing culture in Kannada films.
Incidentally the audio of the film may be released on the 26th marriage anniversary and Shivaraj Kumar and Ms. Geetha Shivaraj Kumar which happens on 19th May 2012. The audio will be released in chitradurga in a grand function.
Power Star Puneet Raj Kumar's most awaited film Anna Bond which has secured the biggest release in the Kannada film industry as for as the release and screening in multiplexes are concerned opened early in the morning in Hospet's Saraswathi theatre. Infact some channels have given flash news about how the fans were demanding the early screening of the film. In Bellary's Shive theatre also similar reports have been heard.
While Cinepolis has reported full houses in all the thirteen screenings on day one, the Rockline Cinemas started off its screening morning at 7.00 A.M. The multiplex in Jalahalli will have totally twenty shows today which may continue till Thursday. In PVR all the eight shows have been booked while the reports from other multiplexes have also been showing similar results. Looking at the craze for the film, the multiplex owners have increased the number of shows for the film. On day one, the film will have 104 shows of screening. Now, It definitely looks as if the film is going to get the biggest share from the multiplexes.
Among the single screens, Navrang had six shows and the first show started off at 7.30 A.M. in the morning. The last show will be at night 10.00 P.M. Many single screens in Bengaluru like Siddeshwara and Vajreshwari are expected to start early screening which may start either at 7.00 A.M or 7.30 A.M.
Well known director R.Chandru has started the shooting of his new film "Charminar' featuring Nenapirali Prem and Meghana Gaonkar immediately after the launch of the film held in Kanteerava Studios on Monday, the April 30. All the three brothers of Dr. Raj Kumar family were present during the muhurath day and there were many number of fim peronalities who had come to wish R.Chandru and Prem. Gudigande Naidu is the Executive Producer of the film while Manjunath is the producer. The music of the film is being handled by teenaged sensation Hari who has already composed four songs of the film.
Chandrashekhar who had worked so far in all the four films of R.Chandru is again working behind the camera for the film.
"Charminar is a historical monument which is a structure on four pillars. I wanted to say even life of any person needs the support of four strong pillars to sustain and achieve success. This concept is narrated on screen through a real life incident. I had attended an allumni meet in a school I studied and met my childhood friend. When we were exchanging notes on our respective lives, my friend who had become a big businessman narrated his own incident. I have taken some incidents in his life and also added a little bit of incidents which are based on my own imagination. The story has come out very well. When I narrated the story to Prem he was impressed. Later I told the story to his Manager Gudibande Naidu who was touched so much by the story that he immediately agreed to be an executive producer of the film' said R.Chandru.
Prem said that he had not done any role in his career that had shades of his role in Charminar. "The film's role has three stages where I look like a college going student, a teen ager and even a middle aged person. I know the role is difficult to handle, but I am prepared to take this challenge' said Prem.
The entire shooting portions will be completed in 42 days.
Has the big success of Kannadadha Kotyaadhipathi which is being run for four days from Monday to thursday in Suvarna Channel some thing to do with the biggest craze generated for the film Anna Bond starring the Power Star.
Puneet is anchoring the Suvarna show with characteristic applomb where his warmth has gone well with the viewers of the programme. The film's increasing popularity has brought in new fans to the Super Star and many family audiences have become his ardent supporters. But the success of the programme can also become a double edged weapon, as the night show collections for four days in the week may also be affected.
Still on a positive note, many trade analysts and critics say that the gains on account of this programme will overweigh a few negative factors.

The film's director Soori has confirmed in a chat with a channel that Anna Bond's raising expectations have brought him a sense of fear and anxiety. "Anna Bond does not resemble any of my previous films Jackie and Junglee. It is just another well made Paisa Vasool entertainer.
It will not have even a second of dull moment. All of us have put in lot of efforts to do this film' says Soori. Incidentally for action lovers, Soori provides something to cheer about. "Action sequences in the film will be unbelievably good and well composed. There are good number of fight sequences and some bit fights which will provide full meals satisfaction for the action lovers' adds Soori.
Priyamani calls Soori as a fabulous director who has taken very good work from all his artists. "He was very jovial on sets and would tell many comical incidents that had happened in his life. As for Puneet is concerned, I should be happy that I was given the second opportunity to work with such a great director' says Priyamani.
Diamond Star Sreenagara Kitty described his forthcoming release Kilaadi Kitty as a breezy entertainer which will engage the audience for over 140 minutes by all mass elements and entertainment. He was addresssing a press meet organised by producer Shivakumar of Kilaadi Kitty to share his happiness over the high voltage audio release of the film hedl recently when West Indian Crickets Chris Gayle released the audio in Good Shepherd auditorium.
Kitty said that the film is a remake of Blade Babji which in Telugu had many portions which were exaggerated. "This aspect would not have gone well with our audience. We have toned down the exaggeration aspects to make the film a little more logical and natural. I am sure that in the present form the film is sure to give more than one hundred percent satisfaction for the audience' said Kitty.
The press meet was also attended by the film's director Anantha Raju, Music director Jessie Gift, the film's two heroines Hari Priya and Nivedhitha a.k.a. Smitha. All the speakers highlighted the comedy elements in the film which is sure to be a major attraction of the film.
Hari Priya said the month of May will see three of her films getting released including Kilaadi Kitty for which everything fell in place. According to her a Malayalam and Tamil film in which she is in leading role is also being released.
"I am happy that song compositions were good, choreographers were top class and even locations matched the quality of the songs' said Hari Priya.
"The audio release function was a big success. The major highlight was that Chris Gayle not only spoke in Kannada in the beginning and wished the product. Sreengara Kitty, Hari Priya, Nivedhitha and all other danced along with Gayle. It was certainly a great moment in my life' declared Shivakumar.
