Kannada super stars Upendra and Kicha Sudeepa have welcomed the arrival of another young star for the Kannada film industry. Upendra says that Dhruv had come to him with the audio album of Adhdhuri a few days ago to his residence but he had predicted the film's success with him. "I told him that I have already heard the songs of the film and was impressed with their tuning. I had also shown the video of the Ammate song and was very much impressed with Dhruva. I told him that he would be a star with his first film itself. I think the response to the film is not unexpected. I have not seen the film yet, but I plan to see after I come from Hyderabad where I am shooting for a song I think Dhruva is a talented actor and will be here to stay' says Upendra.
Kicha Sudeepa who is ever encouraging many younger artists who always flock towards him for guidance. Kicha has been quite a favourite for Dhruv also as much as for his elder brother Chiranjeevi Sarja. Kicha and his friend were present in the audio release of Adhdhuri which kick started the publicity campaign of the film.
In a twitter message Kicha has wished the entire team of Adhdhuri and welcomed Dhruv.

The Dhandupalya team was a picture of confidence on Monday evening after winning two big battles in the court and the censor board. The case filed by a Mysore based Journalist Srinath has been dismissed. The Chitraloka portal has already reported that the film has been censored with a U certificate with 13 cuts. The team headed by director Sreenivasa Raju were all in smiles to express their happiness over reaching out the people.
Dhandupalya's artists Markand Deshpande and Ravi Kale were also present in the press conference. Doddanna who has played an important role in the film was also present.
Sreenivasa Raju described his film as an entertainment film with all commercial ingredients.
Markand Deshpande, one of the finest actors in Marati stage and Bollywood said that he did not know the exact reason as to why he was chosen for an extremely negative character. Markand said that
Music director Guru Kiran had entered the film industry to become an actor. He struggled hard to become an actor and faced many humiliations. He had worked in Dr. Vishnuvardhan starrer "Nishkarsha' directed by Sunil Kumar Desai. Later he worked in some more films after which he showed his talents in many television serials till Upendra wanted him to become a music director for the film A. The rest is history.
Now, talented music director Guru Kiran who is still on top in his work has drifted towards another department of the industry. Now, he has dubbed for the film Sagar for the role of the villain. The film's Villain is none other than Bollywood actor Dev Gill who had worked in Telugu blockbuster film "Magadheera' directed by S.S.Rajamouli. M.D.Sridhar who has directed Prajwal and Radhika Pandit starrer "Sagar' says that he was trying for a different voice for Dev Gill in the film and after leaving out all options he had thought of Guru Kiran. "I was very confident that Guru Kiran would have carried off quite efficiently this job and now I am extremely happy about the work done by Guru. Now, we have two exceptional work done by Guru Kiran in this film. The first is the music composition and re-recording work and the dubbing work he has performed for actor Dev Gill' says M.D.Sridhar.
Super Star Upendra launched the audio of a new film directed by his Shishya Madhuchandran who had worked with the top actor-director in the film Super. The title of the film was not announced but it was to be resolved through a puzzle.
Upendra said that he had lot of confidence on the strength of his protege Madhuchandra who had already worked with several well known teleserial directors earlier. He has worked with some well known directors like T.N.Seetharam, Nagathihalli Chadnrashekhar and Yogaraj Bhat. The film has a lengthy title but the winner who identifies the title will get a prize. The function was held at freedom Park.
Before the launch of audio a contest was held where in the participants were given a key to trace out the Super Star from the five cells. Ajith an interested participant won the contest. Upendra said this is the sort of novelty he was looking for from young creative directors.
"I am happy that the entire team of this film has shown so much of passion for film making' said Upendra while releasing the audio. The audio has five songs and columnist Chandrashekhara Alur who has also written dialogues for some television serials has written two song lyrics of the film.

Tamil actor Ganesh Venkatraman who had played an important role in the film 'Abhiyum Naanum' produced by Prakash Raj and directed by Ram Mohan is playing a very crucial role in Roopa Iyer directed "Chandra' made in Kannada and Tamil. Ganesh Venkataraman had also worked with Kamal Hassan in the film "Unnai Pol Oruvan' Now, Ganesh Venkataraman is playing solo hero's roles in Tamil films and his first Tamil film ,Panithuli is ready for release where he plays an NRI. The film was extensively shot in the US.
Now, the news is that award winning director Roopa Iyer has drafted him for an important role in her ambitious project Chandra for which shooting may start sometime in the first week of July. Roopa Iyer herself has confirmed this news in a chat with Chitraloka. Chandra, a bi lingual film to be made in Tamil and Kannada which was launched a few weeks ago in Bengaluru in presence of the film's hero Prem and the film's heroine Shreya. Roopa Iyer had then spoken about the requirement of another actor in the film. Perhaps now Ganesh Venaktarman has filled the role. Another welcome addition is that of Tamil film industry's comedy actor Vivek.
Ganesh is teaming up with Shriya for the first time as the film's main hero Prem. It may be recalled that Ganesh had begun his Kollywood career by teaming up with Trisha in Abhiyum Naanum.
The film will mark Ganesh Venkataraman's Kannada debut after a number of Telugu films like the prestigous film Damarukam in his belt as well. The movie deals with the life of a last generation princess played by Shriya and the love story has two heroes.
