The audio of the much awaited Puneet Raj Kumar starrer Prithvi produced under the banner of Ram Babu Productions and directed by Jacob Varghese was released on Sunday evening. Raghavendra Raj Kumar and Veteran film producer Rockline Venkatesh had released the audio CD officially. The audio has been released by Anand Audio Company. The film is jointly produced by Soorappa Babu and N.S. Rajkumar.
Already the songs of Prithvi have become popular ever since the songs have been played by many music channels. The audio has been receiving good response in the market, says Mohan of Anand Audio.
Producer Soorappa Babu's close friend and producer Munirathna was honored during the function for his victory in the recently held Corporation elections from the Yeshwantapur Ward.
Actor Raghu Mukherjee was also present in the function to bless the Prithvi team.

Varghese, Music director Manikanth Kadri, Cameraman Sathya spoke about the finer points of the film and said that the film which is to be released on April 23 would appeal to the Kannada film fans.
Puneet Raj Kumar said that the film has come out very stylishly and the producers of the film have not spared any efforts to make the film a treat to watch. "We have liked the film, but we want audience to enjoy it thoroughly. Jacob Varghese and his team of technicians have put in a lot of efforts to make this film a visual treat. We are sure that the technical standards in the film are comparable to any other competently made films' said Puneet. He also said Manikanth Kadri has composed some good numbers for the film.
Parvathi Menon said that she was very happy to work in a team which understood everything and was always there to help her. "The director was definite about his script and what he wanted from artists. When any director is so thorough about his work, the job of the artists becomes easy and they would perform what is just expected from them. I am also thankful to Puneet sir for helping out in the dialogues many times during the shooting of this film. He is a great gentleman I have seen so far' she added.
Producer Rockline Venkatesh, a close friend of Babu wished the film to achieve the biggest success in Puneeth's films so far and said that he is also as eager as any other Kannada film fan to see the film.
Raghavendra Raj Kumar complimented the film producers for making a good film and choosing a perfect team of artists and technicians for the film.
Puneet Raj Kumar starrer Jackie has already created a big hype even before its first schedule of shoot has been completed. It is first time that Duniya and Junglee director Soori is directing the Power Star who is leading the pack in the film. Mallu girl Bhavana is the heroine of this film. Now, the news is that there has been a continuous shooting for the film in Madikeri now.
Puneet will be coming to Bengaluru on Saturday evening after completing the shoot to be part of the Audio release function of his forthcoming film Pruthwi directed by Jacob Varghese on the second Sunday of the Month. Then again he will be proceeding to Madikeri to finish further portions of the film.
Since Jackie was launched a few days ago in Bangalore, there has been a heavy curiosity build up on the film. Though Soori is silent about the film, the news about the film is being unleashed in a big manner only because of the presence of Power Star who is taking up a role of a commoner and a local boy in this film.
Lot of questions were directed to both Puneet and Soori about the way the hero's characterisation. Soori was also asked as to how he will be using the Power Star in the film.
But Soori has revealed very less about his plan in the after launch press meet which has further fuelled the curiosity value of the film. 'This is the first time I am directing a film with a big star like Puneet Raj Kumar and I know lot of expectations would be naturally created about it. Directing a Puneet film is certainly an additional responsibility.
The two press conferences were designed as pre release press conferences, but in reality they ended with the announcements that the film's release has now been postponed . Rajashekhar, the director and producer partner of the hugely discussed film Parole said that they have decided to postpone the release of the film, as they understood that Ganesh's film Ullasa Uthsaaha is getting released in the same theatre that they had planned. Later Shankaralinga Sugnalli, the director of Holi said that they are postponing the release of the film as they feared the competition of IPL cricket.
Rajashekhar, the cameraman Gundlupete Suresh and the film's to artists Vishwas and
Pradeep however used the opportunity to tell the media that the first print of the film was out and who ever have seen the film have liked the product.
Rajashekhar said that he has included real life incidents that he had read in newspapers in the story. Rajashekhar also added that everything connected to the film including the fights is realistic.
The main attraction of the Holi press conference was its heroine Raagini who was the
cynosure of all eyes. She said that Holi was her first film and it was really closer to her heart. Sugnalli and the film's hero Venkatesh also spoke in the function.
Telugu film industry's top star Venkatesh will be playing the lead in the Telugu remake of Kannada block buster film Aaptha Rakshaka which is now moving in the direction as becoming one of the biggest hits in the industry. As Dr. Vishnuvardhan, even Venkatesh will be teamed up with five top heroines.
The Telugu remake of Aaptha Rakshaka which will bear the title of Aaptha Rakshakudu is to be directed by P Vasu.
Now the news from Tollywood is that five heroines have already been finalized for the film. Bengaluru girl and Yoga teacher Anushka is the main heroine of the film and will be playing the all-important role of Nagavalli in the film. Savari heroine Kamalinee Mukherjee gets another pivotal role in this film. In other female characters Shraddha Das, Richa Gangopdhyay and Pooonam Kaur have been chosen. Another actress is yet to be finalized. The regular shooting of this film will be commencing from May.
Sources also say that some portions of the film will be shot in Bengaluru also, like Chandramukhi earlier.
Former Karnataka Minister and legislator Shobha Karandajle released the audio album of Priya Hassan's action-comedy entertainer Bindaas Hudugi in a colourful function held on Wednesday evening. The funciton was also attended by another woman achiever Ms. Jeeja Harisingh, the most celebrated cop from the state's police department.
Shobha Karandajle said that she was really happy that Priya Hassan had achieved so much in the film industry in such a younger age and hoped that she will make a bigger mark in the film industry. Jeeja Hari Singh said she was impressed with the passion of Priya towards the cinema and said that she had also given permission for the actress to film one of the real life incidents that had happened in her career.
K.C.N. Chandrashekhar, President of the Kannada film producers association who was another chief guest wished Priya Hassan and said that her courage to produce and direct a film in these difficult times is commendable.
Priya Hassan said that she had approached real life achievers among woman to release her audio album, mainly because her journey in the film industry had faced lot of challenges.
The trailer and songs of the film were shown to the guests and media. The film's music director Yarram Ramesh was also present.
