Choreographer turned director A Harsha, whose latest film Bhajarangi is a huge hit is upset about some reports that attributed statements to him blaming Sudeep for not accepting the film. Denying that he has spoken against Sudeep, Harsha says that the film was never offered to Sudeep in the first place.

In the last few days, there have been rumours that Sudeep rejected the film and then Harsha took it to Shivarajkumar. Harsha says he had planned another film with Sudeep which did not take off and Bhajarangi was a completely different film.

Balming rumour mongers Harsha says some vested interests are trying to create a wedge between him and Sudeep. Harsha said, "Sudeep is my elder brother and I have always considered him to be my godfather in the film industry. Some people are needlessly and falsely creating rumours affecting our relationship. I never offered to make Bhajarangi with Sudeep. Sudeep is now a big star in the national level and I would love to direct a film for him. Let rumours fly, but my love and respect for Sudeep will remain. How can rumours that say Yograj Bhat and Ravi Verma worked for Bhajarangi be true?"

Producer KP Srikanth says that he has no idea who is dubbing the Telugu version of Topiwala or who gave the permission for that. "Upendra has to say who gave the permission for the Telugu dubbing. It was not us producers. Our earlier film Omkara was dubbed into Telugu but never released. So we have no interest in dubbing Topiwala to Telugu. I do not know who is doing it."

Earlier today, Chitraloka broke the news that Upendra is contemplating legal action against those doing the dubbing and the producers as well since he holds the dubbing and remake rights. But Srikanth's statements come as an anti-climax and the question remains as to who is doing the dubbing?

The film with S Narayan as director and Duniya Vijay in the lead has been dropped. Chitraloka had brought out the exclusive details of the new project only days earlier. But today, the project is officially cancelled.

Speaking to Chitraloka, Narayan said that the film will not take off as the talks about remuneration broke down with the actor. The director had held talks with the actor more than a week ago. The project looked all set to take off and it would have been their first film together after Chanda. Fans will have to wait to see this combination again.

Actor-director Upendra says that he doesn't do gimmicks and he just thinks differently than others and nothing else Upendra was speaking at the 'Bramha' press meet in Bangalore on the Deepavali day.

'Many says that I do a lot of gimmicks and promote my films. Actually speaking, that is not true. I just think differently that's all. When people were doing films in one format. I thought of breaking the format and doing something differently. But one point of time, though I wanted to do some regular format films, people expected something different from me. I don't do any gimmicks to promote the films nor attract the audience. I just think differently's says Upendra.

Upendra said that he is not upset about missing the state award. 'I really don't think much about these awards. According to me these awards must be given to people who have literally failed. By giving an award to them, at least it will boost their confidence and they can make films. I don't mind missing the awards, because frankly speaking I don't think about awards while doing films' said Upendra.

On reacting about naming his new film 'Om 2', 'well they first called it as 'Basavanna'. I thought it was a very good film and I accepted it. But they kept a gun beside the title and there were a lot of criticisms for that. Later it was renamed as 'Bramhana'. Many people objected for that also. Now there is a news that the film is titled as 'Om 2'. Though the story is in the similar lines of 'Om' and the title fits the film, I don't know whether the film can be named like that because 'Om' is an iconic film and we can't play with the sentiments of the people' opined Upendra.
