Kannada Film director Kodlu Ramakrishna has set a deadline of August 15 for superstar Shivrajkumar to come to shooting for the film ‘Jugari Cross’ based on the novel written by Poornachandra Tejaswi. Director Kodlu Ramakrishna has created a ruckus even before the shooting starts by setting a deadline on a decent and dignified actor like Shivrajkumar.
It is understood that Kodlu is also opening the secrets of giving advance payment of Rs.5 lakhs to Shivrajkumar and Rs. 50000 to music director V.Manohar and Rs. 35,000 to cameraman Sundarnath Suvarna. He has also taken Rs.1 lakhs as advance from the producer H.G.Narayana Gowda and C.M.Narayana (the makers of ‘Kanooru Heggadathi’ and the recently released ‘Savovara’).
It seems Kodlu is in a hurry. He is worried about the time limit fixed by Poornachandra Tejaswi for adapting the novel to the screen. Meanwhile Shivrajkumar is immensely happy with the screenplay work done by the original rights holder Surendranath.
