Kannada director S Narayan is unhappy with the producers of the Tamil film Puli. Narayan was the distributor for the film in Karnataka. But because the film flopped Narayan lost about Rs 4.25 crore. The producer of the film recently compensated distributors in Tamil Nadu.
But even though Narayan has lost so much money, he was not even informed about the compensation. Narayan has now decided to protest this discrimination in front of the KFCC.
Speaking to Chitraloka, Narayan said that he has already written letters to the KFCC and South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce about it. He is unhappy that though all distributors suffered losses, only he was left out by the producer while others were refunded. "I have lost nearly Rs 4.25 crore. I do not know what to do except sit and protest in front of KFCC," Narayan said.
