Actor Aravind has decided to filed a defamation case against writer-director Soori for wrongly portraying him in a visual for a teaser. Recently, Soori had presented a teaser in the trailer launch of his new film 'Kendasampige'. The teaser showcased how newcomers pester him for a chance in his films. In that teaser, Soori had showed examples of many such aspiring actors and technicians, out of which Aravind was also one.

So, Aravind who is very much outraged by Soori's behaviour of wrongly portraying him has decided to move to court and file a defamation case against the director. 'I was very much surprised when Soori took my example in that video. I am an aspiring artiste and I have been meeting many directors for a chance. Like wise, I also met Soori for a chance. If he didn't want to give me chance, he could have told me clearly about that. What was the need of using my photos for the teaser. I am very much upset about this and I am planning to file a defamation case against him' said Aravind.

The release date of Puneeth Rajakumar starrer 'Dodmane Huduga' has been finally announced and the film is all set to be released on the 23rd of September.

Director Soori and producer Govindu confirmed the news during the press meet of the film held on Thursday night. The press conference was attended by Puneeth Rajakumar, Radhika Pandith, Yogaraj Bhatt, Ambarish, Sumalatha Ambarish and others.

All the artistes who were present during the press conference said they had a very good time during the making of the film and thanked the makers for making such a film.

Actress Rashmi who shot to fame with 'Duniya' being directed by Soori is all set to join the team of 'Namagaagi' as the second heroine of the film. Earlier, actress Pavani alias Vrinda was said to play the role of the second heroine of the film. Now it seems that Rashmi has replaced Pavani as the second heroine of the film. Sources say, Rashmi will be seen in a glamorous look in the film.

The portions of Rashmi and Vijay Raghavendra will soon be shot in Malaysia and other places.

Soori is ready with his latest film 'Kendasampige - Part 2 - Ginimari Case' and the trailer of the film was released on Saturday by Puneeth Rajkumar at the Renukamba Digital Theater in Bangalore.

'Kendasampige' stars Vicky and Manvita Harish in lead roles. The film is based on a story written by Surendranath fondly known as ETV Soori in 1997. The film is being produced by Parimala Talkies and V Harikrishna is the music director while Satya Hegade is the cameraman.

The trailer launch was attended by Yogaraj Bhatt, Jayanth Kaikini, Surendranath, Shashidhar Adapa, Rajesh Nataranga, Govindu and others. Puneeth Rajkumar arrived late and released the trailer officially.

Puneeth Rajkumar sure has his hands full with many films. But which among the lined up films will he be taking next is the question on everybody's lips. Puneeth says only 'Dodmane Huduga' has been finalised as of now and the other projects are still in the initial stage.

'I have been hearing many stories and I might accept some films, but they are all in the initial stage. As of now 'Ranavikrama' is in the dubbing stage and the dubbing will start soon. Soori's 'Dodmane Huduga' might start from the 05th of April. After that I might take up Saravanan's film, which will be followed by Vijaykumar's film. Only after that the rest will follow' says Puneeth.

Recently 'Bahaddur' fame Chethan Kumar had announced that his next film 'James' will be starring Puneeth Rajkumar. Even Santhosh Anandram was looking forward to work with Puneeth in his second film. Jayanna had announced a film with Puneeth and Shivarajkumar. With Puneeth's schedule being very tight, looks like all the three films will have to wait for at least an year.

Overseas market is quite different from other markets. Overseas audiences are educated audiences (so called multiplex audiences in India or A center audiences). In that case, we cannot screen all movies that get released in India. Can we screen all blockbuster hit movies in India here? That’s not true either. Duniya movie directed by Suri was a biggest hit there; it was screened only in couple of locations and taken out due to poor response.

Remember reading that director Soori and writer-director 'Agni' Sridhar will be joining hands for a new film? The film has not only been launched silently, but Soori has already started shooting for the film.

The film 'Silent Sunila' is based on the Bangalore underworld and particularly on gangster Silent Sunila who rose to fame in the Bekkina Kannu Rajendra murder case. The film revolves around the life of Silent Sunila and what all happened with him in the last one decade.

Another highlight of the film is Silent Sunila himself will be playing the lead role. The rest of the star cast is yet to be finalised and Soori says he is in search for newcomers for the film. In the technical side, Soori's regulars like cameraman Satya Hegade and editor Deepu S Kumar will be working for this film also.

Actor Chandan might have given a number of flops in his career, but that has not deterred director Soori of 'Duniya' fame to direct a film for him. Yes, sources say Soori is waiting for Chandan to come out of the 'Bigg Boss' programme after which he is planning to do a film with the actor. It seems Soori is very much impressed by Chandan and wants to do a film with him. More det ails about the film are yet awaited.

Actor Dhananjaya has been given a new look in the film Tagaru. He has had to cut his hair short after having long locks in his almost all his films including the recent Jessie and Boxer and Raathe. Suri said it was necessary for the character to have that look and despite Dhananjay's trademark long hair style he made him get the new look.

Dhananjay was all game and agreed to do so. Dhananjaya will also feature in the first promo of the film. He took part in the shooting of the promo which continued after the muharat of the film was held on Sunday morning.
