    After Karnataka reported its first death due to Coronavirus, the State Government has decided to shut down malls, theaters, pubs, and all kinds public gathering such marriage, events, functions and so on for a period of one week.

    Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa announced that the step to close down as preventive measures against the spread of the deadly virus.

    The State has ordered that all universities, malls and clubs should remain closed for a period of onr one week and that no one should travel unless its an emergency.

    Addressing the media after the Uttar Pradesh government decided to do so, the State Government has ordered that all malls, cinema halls, theatres, pubs, wedding ceremonies and other large gatherings were banned for one week.

  • KFCC Support Karnataka Bundh on 18th

    The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has given the support for Karnataka bundh scheduled on April 18th. Call for the bundh has been given by Kannada Chalavali Vatal Paksha and Sa Ra Govindu.

    More than 530 Pro Kannada organisations are supporting Karnataka Bundh against the stand of Tamil Nadu oppising the Karnataka states Mekedatu project.

    In the emergency meeting held at KFCC it was decided to support the bundh and the film activities will be stand still on that day.

    Earlier, the Kannada film industry had supported bundh regarding the Cauvery issue also.

  • One Day Bundh Of Film Industry On Saturday

    The Kannada film industry has decided to stop all its operations on Saturday in support of the Karnataka Bundh organised by various pro Kannada organisations in Karnataka. The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce had held a meeting recently and it was decided there to support the ongoing agitation by farmers.

    It was decided that the entire industry will be participating the ongoing agitation on the 30th of July. Likewise, the industry will be closing down for a day on Saturday and will be participating in the rally from Town Hall to Freedom Park in Bangalore

  • Puneeth, Shivanna, Prem and Jaggesh In Bundh

    Actors Shivarajakumar, Puneeth Rajakumar, Prem and Jagges participated in the rally and bundh called by the pro-Kannada organisations regarding the Mekedatu issue held today.

    The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce recently had decided to stop all the activities related to films on the 18th of April and support the bundh called by the Pro Kannada organisations.

    Likewise, Puneeth Rajkumar and Prem attended the rally in Bangalore, while Shivarajakumar and Jaggesh participated in the rally in Mysore and Tumkur respectively. The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce members also participated in the rally held in Bangalore.

    The industry had closed down for a day and even the theaters had stopped the morning show and matinee shows across Karnataka.
