Aditya who celebrated his birthday on Monday (04th May) is looking forward for the release of his latest film 'Rebel' which is all set to release on the 08th of May. 'Rebel' was launched a few years back at the Atria Hotel in Bangalore. Many stars including Ravichandran and Shivarajakumar were present at the launch and wished Aditya, director Rajendra Singh  Babu and the team of 'Rebel' a huge luck.

However, the film got delayed due to various reasons and is all set to release this week. This is Aditya's first release in the last two years and the actor-producer is very much excited about the film. Will the film brink Aditya the last glory is yet to be seen in the coming days.

The High Court on Tuesday dismissed the bail applications of actress Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani in drugs case.

The actresses was arrested by the CCB police two months back in connection to the ongoing probe of the drugs scandal and its links with the Kannada film industry.  The actresses were alleged of consuming and supplying drugs at parties.

The actresses' were denied bail on September 28 and have been in judicial custody at the Parappana Agrahara jail.

Just days after radio jockey turned actress Nethra shared her a #MeToo experience, and then actress Sangeetha Bhat who revealed her ten years long ordeals in a series of incidents before quitting the industry, another actress has opened up about her #MeToo experiences.

Actress Sanjjanna Galarani, who went live on her Facebook account on Wednesday, has revealed that she was forced to do obscene scenes and was shown vulgarly in her debut movie Ganda Hendathi, directed by Ravi Shrivatsa which was released in 2006. It is the remake of 2004 Hindi hit film 'Murder’.

She goes on to share that the makers of the film who promised her that she will be treated well was later forced to do such scene, and when expressed her unwillingness to do so, she was threatened with dire consequence which would affect her career.

In the video, she says that the makers shot the film with camera angles showing her obscenely and vulgarly. 

Also, says that she does not feel embarrassed about it as it was the makers of the film who showed her such when she was hoping to start her career with great hopes. She was just 16 years old when she had signed the film, she says adding that prior to signing the movie she was told about a kissing scene but before the shoot was wrapped up she was forced to do more than 30 to 40 kissing scenes.

About going public about it after a gap of 12 years, the actress has said that she has gained confidence to finally talk about it especially to come out clean to her fans and loved ones who wonder about her after watching Ganda Hendathi.

While making it clear that she doesn't paint the entire industry with same colour, she says, “I have done 45 films so far and apart from two incidents, I have always been treated with utmost respect as an actress. In another incident, a Telugu producer was furious for bringing my father to an abroad shoot. As I have grown enough with my talent, I managed it well.”

Aniruddh's latest film 'Raja Simha' is all set to release on Friday (February 02nd). Meanwhile, the team has organised a grand procession before the release of the film.

The procession which is called as 'Raja Simhana Rathayatre' will start from Ananda Rao Circle on Friday morning at 8.30 AM. The procession will end at the Anupama theater. Dr Vishnuvardhan's statute which plays a prominent role in the film, will be taken in the procession. Thousands of Dr Vishnuvardhan's fans are expected to be a part of this procession.

'Raja Simha' is written and directed by debutante Ravi Ram and is being produced by C D Rajanna. Nikitha Thukral plays the female lead in the film. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan plays an important role, apart from Ambarish. Sanjana, Arun Sagar, Bullet Prakash and others are also a part of the star cast.

Raja Simha is a tribute to the late Vishnuvardhan. The film is a sort of continuation of Vishnuvardhan's hit film Simhadriya Simha. There is a special treat awaiting the fans of Vishnuvardhan as the actor "returns" in all glory in a special scene.  The film starts on a comedy track with Raja Simha Anirudh playing the role of a mechanic.

His has an ordinary life with a small romance in the background. Fate takes him to Simhadri. His mother is shocked with him going to that place. Flashback reveals how the character of Narasimhe Gowda played by Vishnuvrdhan in Simhadriya Simha is related to this story. 

The betrayal from a family relative is revealed. What is the connection between Raja Simha and Narasimhe Gowda? Why is his mother afraid of him going to Simhadri? All these questions are answerd in an entertaining way in the film directed by Ravi Ram. In able form is Anirudh who mesmerises in comedy and romantic scenes and stuns you in the action scenes. There is a lot of scenes in which Anirudh reminds audience of Vishnuvardhan in his mannerisms and dialogue delivery. It is a treat to watch. 

Anirudh has able company in the form of Nikitha, Sanjannaa Galrani in the romantic and comedy scenes. In the emotional scenes he gets to share screen with Bharati Vishnuvardhan. Ambareesh is also present in a guest role but an important character in the film. 

The director's biggest success is linking the film to Simhadriya Simha. It is very convincingly done. That gives the film a big boost. Jessie Gift has come up with some very good music for Raja Simha which will remain for quite sometime. This is a kind of film you would have expected Vishnuvardhan to do. That is one more reason for his fans to watch it. Anirudh has returned to screen in style and this could just be the turning point of his career.

Actress Sanjana Galrani has been sent to two days judicial custody and has been transferred to Bangalore Central Jail in Parappana Agrahara.

The actress was arrested by the CCB police last week in connection to the ongoing probe of the drugs scandal and its links with the Kannada film industry. Meanwhile, Sanjana had tried for a bail, but the bail application did not come through.

Sanjana has joined another actress Ragini Dwivedi and four others who have already been sent to Judicial Custody on Monday.

The CCB on Tuesday morning took actress Sanjana Galrani into custody for further investigation in the drugs case. 

Earlier, Sanjana's rakhi brother Rahul Salanki and Ragini's close aide Ravishankar were arrested by the CCB police. Immediately after that, actress Ragini was taken into custody. There was news that Sanjana also might likely be questioned in the drug case.

However, due to various reasons, the CCB police did not arrest Sanjana and there was news that the actress was quite tense and had contacted her lawyers. In a surprise move, the CCB team headed by Anjumala Nayak raided Sanjana's house in Indiranagar and took her to custody. 

Actress Sanjjjanaa Galrani who had revealed that she was forced to do obscene scenes and was shown vulgarly in her debut movie Ganda Hendathi, has finally chosen to end the controversy by apologizing to its director Ravi Srivatsa, and to the director's association.

Following 'me too India' movement the actress had claimed that she was shown vulgarly in her debut Kannada movie. However, it soon erupted in controversy with director Ravi Srivatsa approaching director's association, demanding apology from the actress for her irresponsible statements.

It eventually led to war of words between the two. Later, the association set a deadline for the actress to issue an apology or else to face legal consequences following which the actress who was shooting away from Bengaluru has now apologized to the director, and to the entire team of Ganda Hendathi.

While standing firm on her previous claims before apologizing, the actress has said that she never intended to hurt anyone's feelings. The actress's decision comes after the actor's association head Dr. Ambareesh and others who advised her to end the matter at this stage.

Soon after the actress apologized, the director Ravi Srivatsa has said that he feels vindicated and doesn't want to discuss it further on the matter.

Sanjjanaa is taking up the role of a real estate dealer. This is not in any movie but in real life. She will be handling the sale of an apartment and meet clients at the apartment herself. She is doing all this because the apartment on sale is that of her father.

The duplex luxury apartment home with "very well done Interiors, fully furnished, ready to live, located in Sahakar Nagar" is up for sale. Sanjjanaa's father is the single owner of this 2,700 square feet apartment which has an independent Terrace. The 3BHK apartment has one balcony and two kitchens. 

Because it is her dad's apartment the actress has kept aside all her other assignments for the day and trying to get it sold.

Actors having to do nude scenes when the story demands it is not new. Some actors agree to do it while some conservative actors may not agree. Those who agree have consistently pushed the boundaries of art. When Shivarajkumar posed only in a short being beaten up in a police station scene in AK47 it was a daring act.

When it comes to female actors it is a different story. They have to face many more problems. Female actors have acted in the nude when the script demanded it. Most times it is a cheating shot with a body double or masked body parts. Recently we saw such a scene in Jatta involving Sukratha Wagle. The story demanded it as the character is opposing the oppression of a male chauvinist who wants her to wear a particular kind of dress. 

In India the most daring act was when Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni gave her bare back pose to Stardust Magzine in September month in 1993. It became a sensational. During those days there was no graphics! Even the actress accepted that she was complete bare for the shoot.

In last few years even in Kannada films this trend has started. In Dandupalya movie actress Pooja Gandhi had show her bare back. Her photos was published everywhere and it was in the movie also. For Haggada Kone movie, directed by Dayal Padmanabhan actor Naveen Krishna was complete nude in a scene. Recently, in Guruprasad directed EradaneSala Sangeetha Bhat showed her bare back in a scene. In Vaira movie directed and acted by Navarasan there is a scene of the heroine Priyanka Malnad showing her bare back. All these scenes have appeared in a few seconds on the screen. 

Now the movie 2 starring Pooja Gandhi, Sanjjanaa and directed by Srinivasa Raju produced by Venkat released on 14th July. After three days of the release some clips started becoming viral which claimed that they were the censor deleted scenes of the movie. 

This clip is about 1.45 minutes long which shows actress Sanjjana is tried up and cop Ravishankar makes her completely nude and with tortures her by hitting her through a catapult on her nude back. Sanjjana shouts. All these scenes last for nearly one minute. Sanjjana's body is shown in closeup and in some scene nude with blurring some of her body parts. 

Chitraloka has published an article with some photos captured from the video clip. When we contacted Producer Venkat and explained the sequence he was shocked to hear that this clip has leaked. 

When we contacted and told Sanjjana first she told it's a censor deleted scenes. The actress accepted that she has done this scene for the film but the censor board has deleted it. It is illegal to leak the scene now but she has no control over it. She was frank to admit that she did the role as it was required in the film to show police brutality on the gang members. 

When contacted the director Srinivasraju "If it was in the movie I could comment. Now only Sanjjana has to answer."

Tilak and Sanjana who shot to fame with Ravi Srivatsa's 'Ganda-Hendathi' is back with a new untitled film being produced and directed by Himayath Khan who earlier directed 'Achchu Mechchu' with Tarun and Archana Guptha in lead roles.

After 'Ganda-Hendathi', Tilak and Sanjana were not in good talking terms. They even quarreled in public during the first season of 'Big Boss' when they were staying together in the house. Just when everybody thought that everything is not right between the two, the two are all set share screen space together in the new untitled film.

The film is all set to go on floors in the month of May.

ದಂಡುಪಾಳ್ಯ 2 ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ನಟಿ ಎಂದು ನನಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಇಂತಹ ಆರೋಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ‘ಆಕೆ’ಗೆ ಅಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ, ಅಭದ್ರತೆ  ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.  ಅದಕ್ಕೇ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಏನೇ ಹೇಳಿದರೂ, ಆಕೆಗೆ ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಪೂಜಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ. 

ತಮ್ಮ ಫೇಸ್​ಬುಕ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪೂಜಾ, ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಂಜನಾ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಳಿಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನೋದು ವಿಶೇಷ. 

ಸಂಜನಾ ಎಂದರೆ, ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಕಣ್ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುವುದು ಗ್ಲ್ಯಾಮರಸ್ ಸಂಜನಾ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅಂಥದ್ದೇ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು. ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಬೇರೆ ಬಗೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಶ್ರಮ ಹಾಕಿದರಾದರೂ, ಗೆಲುವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ ಸಂಜನಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಈ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಗ್ಲ್ಯಾಮರಸ್ ರೋಲ್‍ಗಳಿಗೆ ತದ್ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರವೊಂದು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ.

ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ ಸಂಜನಾ ಈಗ ಮಹಾರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಕಿರುತೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ. ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ `ಸ್ವರ್ಣ ಖಡ್ಗಂ' ಟಿವಿ ಶೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಜನಾ ಮಹಾರಾಣಿ. ಆ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತಿ ವರಸೆ, ಕುದುರೆ ಸವಾರಿ ಕಲಿತಿರುವ ಸಂಜನಾ, ಈ ಶೋ ತಮಗೆ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಲೆವೆಲ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಭರವಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಟಿವಿ ಶೋ ಸುಮಾರು 500 ಕೋಟಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿರುವುದು ಬಾಹುಬಲಿಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ದೇವಿನೇನಿ. ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಪ್ಪಟ ಯೋಧೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಿರುತೆರೆಗೆ ಕಾಲಿಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಜನಾ, ಟಿವಿ ಶೋ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕನಸು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಶೋ ಭಾರತದ 12 ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾರವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ನಟಿ ಶೃತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್ ಸಿಡಿಸಿರುವ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಜೋರಾಗಿಯೇ ಸದ್ದು ಮಾಡ್ತಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಗೂ ತಮಿಳು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಕೆಲವು ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು, ಮಂಚಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಶೃತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್, ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇನ್ನು ನಟಿ ಸಂಜನಾ ಆರೋಪದ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಹೊಸಬರು ಇಂಥ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡ್ತಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫಿಲಂ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಲ್ಲದವರು ಇಂತಹ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡ್ತಾರೆ. ನಟಿಯರಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೂ ಏನೇನನ್ನೋ ಬಯಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಯಾರೋ ಒಬ್ಬಿಬ್ಬರು ಮಾಡುವ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಇಡೀ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂಥವರೇ ಎಂದು ದೂಷಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸಂಜನಾ.
