    Sandalwood's Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar and the youngest son of Kannada thespian late Dr. Rajkumar, has contributed Rs 50 Lakh as donation to Chief Minister's Relief Fund to combat the corona pandemic.

    The actor met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at his residence in Dollars Colony, handing over the cheque to him for the cause. Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan was also present on the occasion.

    "We all should follow the directions of the State Government in these difficult times. It might not be easy for all to stay locked down inside the house but there is no other way but to maintain social distance, which is the only way to fight Coronavirus. I humbly request every citizen to maintain social distance and to adhere to every directions of the State Government," said Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar.

Upendra on Thursday met the Chief Minister and handed over the cheque. Recently actor Puneeth also met the CM and handed over the cheque.

    Actor-director Upendra on Thursday donated Rupees Five Lakh towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund and has urged others to donate to help people in the flood hit areas of North Karnataka.

    Not only Upendra, many other celebrities are doing their bit to help the people in flood hit areas. The team of 'Raymo' directed by Pavan Wodeyar has already sent basic requirements towards the flood hit areas. Even Sudeep has announced that his team have already left with flood, clothing and other basic requirements to people who are affected from the floods.

    Meanwhile, some more celebrities including Rakshith Shetty and others are arranging the collection and supply of relief materials to flood affected places in Karnataka. Rakshith's Paramvah Studios has also asked people to join the cause by making contribution.
