The audio release event of Sudeep starrer 'Phailwan' which was scheduled on the 9th of August at Chitradurga, has been postponed because of floods in Northern part of Karnataka. Actor Sudeep himself has tweeted regarding the postponement of the event.

'I wish to postpone the audio launch of 'Phailwan' to another date as I feel supporting the flood hit areas should be the priority. I request all my friends to forgive me for this decision of mine. I also thank my friend Puneeth Rajakumar for his cooperation. Much thanks my friend' tweeted Sudeep.

This is the second time that the audio release event has been postponed. The audio release event was first scheduled on the 27th of July. However, the event got delayed due to various reasons. After that the date of 09th of August was fixed. Now the audio release has been postponed due to floods for the second time. The new date is yet to be confirmed.

Actor-director Upendra on Thursday met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and donated Rupees Five Lakh towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund.

Earlier, Upendra had announced that he will be donating Rs Five Lakh towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund. He had also urged his party members to help the flood victims. Upendra on Thursday met the Chief Minister and handed over the cheque. Recently actor Puneeth also met the CM and handed over the cheque.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಉ.ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜನರು ಪ್ರವಾಹದಿಂದ ನಲುಗಿರುವುದು ನೋವು ತಂದಿದೆ. ಅವರ ನೆರವಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಜೈರಾಜ್. ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಸಿಎಂ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಚೆಕ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಟ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ, ನಟಿ ಸುಧಾರಾಣಿ 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ನಟಿ ತಾರಾ 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸುದೀಪ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ಸಂಘಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಘಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ನೆರವು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶಿವಣ್ಣ, ಪುನೀತ್, ದರ್ಶನ್ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ಸಂಘಗಳೂ ನೆರೆ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ. 

ರಕ್ಷಿತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಪವನ್ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ರೆಮೋ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ ಸ್ವತಃ ನೆರವು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಕಳಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಟಿ ಹರಿಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸಿ ಸ್ವತಃ ತಾವೇ ಹೊರಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
