Just when there is a huge cry from the Kannada producers particularly 'Rangitaranga' producer, that the release of 'Bahubali' will hamper the collections of 'Rangitarana', K P Srikanth who is distributing 'Bahubali' has said that no Kannada film will be affected by the release of 'Bahubali'.

Reacting about the issue Srikanth said that he knows the plight of Kannada producers and hence won't disturb them at any cost. 'We are also Kannada producers and known the plight of the Kannada producers. We won't disturb any Kannada film which is running successfully. There were some confusions earlier and everything has been sorted out now' says Srikanth.

Meanwhile, the producer of 'Rangitaranga' has filed a complaint with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.

Kanakapura Srinivas, the producer of Dhruva Sarja starrer 'Bharjari' has come out in open and has said that the collection of the film given by the team members is false and the film has made only three crores profit.

Ealier, the team had declared that the collection of the film is more than 50 crores and the first day collections is itself 6.83 crores. However, the producer has said that the figures are false and a few members of the team had given such a news to increase their remuneration.

'I have been hearing about the false collection reports so far. I had invested 17 crores and has got 20 crores from the film. I made only three crores profit and the rest of the collection figures given by others are false' says Kanakapura Srinivas.

The release date of Dhruva Sarja starrer 'Bharjari' has finally been fixed and the film is all set to release across Karnataka on the 15th of September.

Bharjari' marks the return of the 'Bahaddur' team once again. The film is being produced by Kanakapura Srinivas and is being directed by Chethan Kumar. 

Chethan himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film apart from directing it. Srisha Kudavalli is the cinematographer, while V Harikrishna is the music director.

Director Yograj Bhat has written to concerned authorities that the producer of Danakayonu Kanakapura Srinivas has withheld the payment pending to him and other persons who have worked for the film. This was promised to be paid before the release of the film Bharjari but it has not been done. This complaint has put a question mark on the release of the new film Bharjari next week. Yograj Bhat has alleged that the tax free certificate of the film has not been signed by the concerned authorities but even then the producer's share of the box office collection has been withdrawn from theatres by the producers. He has said that he does not know if it is legal and proper but the authorities should look into it. He has said that the producer owes him Rs 24.5 lakh in arrears. 

Yograj Bhat has pleaded with the authorities and the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to force the producer to pay the dues to him and the other technicians including cinematographer Sugnan. Danakayonu released in October last year and had a decent run at the box office. The problems between the producer on the one side and the director and other technicians had not come out in the open till now. 

After Yograj Bhat's complaint the Information Department has replied that the producer has not applied for the 100 per cent tax exemption certificate. Now it is surprising if the producer has indeed managed to take his share of the box office collection without the certificate in hand. If he has managed to as Bhat alleges it would be a major wrong and the producer will be in trouble. 

Producer Kanakapura Srinivas who was away from producing films for a while is back with a new film. This time Srinivas is producing a new film called 'Happy Days' under his R S Productions banner. The film was launched recently.

'Happy Days' marks the debut of well known director Samudra to Kannada film industry. Samudra had earlier produced many films in Telugu including 'Mahanandi', 'Simharashi', 'Panchakshari' and others. The film talks about a social issue and the story is told in North Karnataka backdrop and Samudra himself has written the story and screenplay of the film.

The film revolves around four youths and Praveen Gowtham, Karthikeya and Abhinav are being introduced through this film. Haripriya is the heroine. Chikkanna, Bullet Prakash, Sadhu Kokila and others play important roles in the film.

If everything had gone right, then director Yogaraj Bhatt was supposed to file a case against producer Kankapura Srinivas for not paying dues of his previous films 'Dana Kayonu'.

Yogaraj Bhatt had directed 'Dana Kayonu' for Kanakapura Srinivas, but the producer had not paid dues to Yogaraj Bhatt and others. In spite of repeated requests, the producer failed to pay the amount. Finally Yogaraj Bhatt had decided to file a case against the producer on Monday.

However, Kanakapura Srinivas has given three cheques to Yogaraj Bhatt and the director will be presenting them. Bhatt has decided to take action, if he does not get money as promised by the producer.

Well known producer Kanakapura Srinivas has said that he has not made any allegations about director Yogaraj Bhatt and actor Vijay and said that someone is there to bring misunderstanding between them.

Earlier, there was news in the morning that all is not well between the producer and the director of 'Dana Kayonu' and producer Kanakapura Srinivas has accused director Yogaraj Bhatt and actor Vijay that they have taken commission from Uni-Fi Media and has usurped a lot of money.

However, Srinivas rubbishes the news and says he didn't make any allegations about anybody. 'We are good friends and there is nothing between us. Someone out there is creating misunderstanding between us' said Kanakapura Srinivas.

Nagashekhar's 'Gadiara' which is in the news for the last six months is all set to be launched in the month of December. 'Gadiara' is a film which is to be simultaneously made in four languages including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Tapsee Pannu has been selected as the heroine for all languages and hero will be changed according to each language.

The film is being produced by Kanakapura Srinivas under the R S Productions and Nagashekhar himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. Sadhu Kokila's son Suraag is likely to be launched through this film as a the music director.

Director Nandakishore who has his hands full already with four films is all set to direct a new film for Puneeth Rajkumar. The film will be produced by Kanakapura Srinivas and Srikanth.

Earlier, Srinivas and Srikanth was supposed to produced a film called 'Mayura' with Puneeth in the lead role. The film was also launched at the ISKCON a few years back. However, the project was shelved with director Shobhan's sad demise. Now Puneeth has given the dates to Srinivas and Srikanth once again and the duo has roped in Nandakishore to direct the film.

Though the film has been announced, the film is likely to be launched later this year as Puneeth is busy with his prior commitments.

Noted producer and distributor Kanakapura Srinivas was on a fiery mode on Tuesday, as he came down heavily upon director Prem, producer’s association and did not even spare the regional film censor board.

While referring Jogi Prem as a 'thop’ director, Srinivas accused him of not returning his Rs.10 lakhs which he had given it as advance 14 years ago to the director. 

Further, he went on to allege that producer's association is good for nothing in these matters. He also said that he would not work with director Prem even if he would offer him crores of rupees in return.

Insofar as film distribution is concerned, Kanakapura Srinivas revealed that he faced a lot of difficulties during the distribution of Rajinikanth starrer 'Kala’. “If I face a similar situation during the release of ‘2.0,’ I will stage protest in front of theaters with more than 40 thousand supporters. I will not seek anyone's support but will fight it all alone,” said Srinivas.

He also expressed dissatisfaction against regional  film censor board members who he says are certifying Kannada films with 'A’ while similar films in other languages are being awarded with U/A certificates.

Irrigation which is the backbone of agriculture is the core issue in Ranam with Chetan spearheading as a young activist in bringing about a positive change. Despite basing it on the serious issue, the film has enough entertaining elements to watch out for too.

A tailormade script for Chetan, he plays an activist with a single agenda, which is to fight for the farmer’s cause in his own unique ways. A real-life activist, Chetan does it with ease, and so is Chiranjeevi Sarja who had mastered playing a cop on the screen.

Loaded with one-liners about farmers, Chetan plays his character to perfection. Watching Yuva Samrat Chiranjeevi in one of his last roles is a heart wrenching scenario for his diehard fans. That apart, Devaraj and Varalakshmi Sarath kumar plays an apt guest role which leaves a mark in the end. Furthermore, a bunch of college students and female leads – Preethi Sharma and Neethu Gowda add entertaining value to a serious script.

A sensible subject with decent entertainment makes Ranam a winner. 

R S Productions headed by Kanakapura Srinivas and K P Srikanth which is considered as one of the prestigious film production houses in Kannada is all set to produced four films in the next one year.

The first one among the four is an untitled film which is all set to be launched on the 06th of April. The film stars and is being written and directed by Vijayendra Prasad, father of well known Telugu director S S Rajamouli. After that R S Productions will be launching 'Bharjari' starring Dhruva Sarja and Rachita Ram in lead roles. The film will be directed by Chethan Kumar and will be launched in the month of May.

The third in the marquee is a film called 'Raja-Rani' being directed by Nagashekhar. The film marks the return of the return of 'Mynaa' combination of Nagashekhar and actor Chethan. The film will be followed by Nandakishore directing a film for Puneeth Rajakumar. The film will be launched sometime next year.

ಅದೇ ಕನಕಪುರ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ವೇಳೆ ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್, ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರುವ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಫಿಲಂ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋದ ಕನಕಪುರ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ಅಂತ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಸಿನಿಮಾ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. 

ಕನಕಪುರ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯೂ ಭರ್ಜರಿಯಾಗಿಯೇ ಕೈಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಚಿತ್ರವೂ ಬಾಕ್ಸಾಫೀಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸದ್ದು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಸಂಭಾವನೆ ಬಂದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ದನಕಾಯೋನು ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ, ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ತು ಪುಣ್ಯಕೋಟಿಯಂತೆಯೇ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಂಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಭಟ್ಟರು, ಚಿತ್ರದ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕರೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಸಂಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನೇ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಾಲದ ಸುಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್, ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಮಾಡುವುದೇ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್ ಅವರೇ ಮುತುವರ್ಜಿ ವಹಿಸಿ, ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. 

ದನಕಾಯೋನು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿ, ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಒಂದು ಹಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಟ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಚಿತ್ರ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಟಿವಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರಸಾರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದ ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟಿವಿ ರೈಟ್ಸ್​ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್, ಸಂಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಡದೆ ಕೈ ಎತ್ತಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹಾಗೆಂದು ಭಟ್ಟರು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಸಮರ ಸಾರಿಲ್ಲ. ಫಿಲಂ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಸಂಘಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಫಿಲಂ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಾ.ರಾ. ಗೋವಿಂದು ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ  ವಿ.ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್‌‌ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಧಾನವೂ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಕೋಟಿ 31 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಸಂಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಕಂತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್, ನಂತರ ಅದನ್ನೂ ಪಾಲಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. 

ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್, ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಕನಕಪುರ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಅವರ ಆರ್.ಎಸ್. ಪ್ರೊಡಕ್ಷನ್​ನ ಮುಂದಿನ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ತಡೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ತೆರಿಗೆ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಕುರಿತು ನೀಡಬೇಕಿರುವ ಅನುಮತಿ ಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ  ತಾವು ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕೂಡಾ ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ವಾರ್ತಾ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೂ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ತಮ್ಮ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಕ್ಕಳಂತೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್, ನೋವಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗಬಾರದು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಕಳಕಳಿ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾವುದೇ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರಿಗೆ ಮೋಸವಾಗಬಾರದು ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನೂ ನಾವು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರಿದ್ಧೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ಧಾರೆ ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್.

ಆದರೆ, ಹೋಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೋಡಿದರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಹುಡುಗರು. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನೀವು ದೂರು ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ, ಇವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಭಟ್ಟರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೇ ಕಸಿವಿಸಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಹುಡುಗರೋ.. ಊಟವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನೋಡಿದರೇನೇ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಭಟ್ಟರೇ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕರಗಿ ದೂರು ನೀಡದೆ, ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಸಮುಜಾಯಿಷಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಹುಡುಗರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೇಬಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಹಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿ, ಹುಡುಗರಿಗೆ ಊಟವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಿಸಿ, ಬುದ್ದಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳಿಸಿದರು. 

ಮುಗುಳ್ನಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರ, ಥಿಯೇಟರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಲ ಹೌಸ್​ಫುಲ್​ ಆದ ಖುಷಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಭಟ್ಟರಿಗೆ, ದನಕಾಯೋನು ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಹಣ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಂಭಾವನೆಯ ಹಣ ನೀಡದೆ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಭಟ್ಟರು, ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದವರಿಗೂ ಊಟ ಕೊಡಿಸಿ ಕಳಿಸಬೇಕಾಯ್ತು. ದನಕಾಯೋನು ಮುಗುಳ್ನಕ್ಕಾಗ ಎಂದಿದ್ದು ಇದಕ್ಕೇನೆ.

ಈಗ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಕನಕಪುರ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್, ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಶತದಿನ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಚಿವ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ಸಂಸದ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಸುರೇಶ್, ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಆರ್.ವಿ.ದೇವರಾಜ್, ವಿತರಕ ಭಾಷಾ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 30ನೇ ತಾರೀಕು ಕನಕಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಮುನೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಬಳಿ ಶತದಿನೋತ್ಸವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

ಆದರೆ, ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದವರೇ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾಯಕ ನಟ ಧ್ರುವ ಸರ್ಜಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸದಸ್ಯರೂ ಈ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಿಂದ ದೂರವೇ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು ಅಷ್ಟರಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದವರ ಜೊತೆ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರಾ..? ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರ ಬಳಿಯೂ ಮೈಲುದ್ದದ ದೂರುಗಳಿವೆ. ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರೇ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಶತದಿನೋತ್ಸವ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ..? ವೇಯ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿ.
