ಸುಮಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಚಿತ್ರ ಇದು. 2012ರ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 24ರಂದು ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಬಾಕ್ಸಾಫೀಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಅದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಯಶ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಮ್ಯಾ ತೆರೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಧಿಕಾ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಜನ್ಯಾ ಸಂಗೀತ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಹಾಡುಗಳೂ ಹಿಟ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದವು.

ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಅನ್ನೋ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಂದಿರೋದ್ರಿಂದ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಅನ್ನೋ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಇಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಥಿಯೇಟರಿಗೆ ತರಲು ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು ಪ್ಲಾನ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ.. 12 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಳೆಯ ಸಿನಿಮಾ.. ಈಗಿನ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ರೀಚ್ ಆಗುವುದೇ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಎಲ್ಲರದ್ದು.

If sources are to be believed, then Jaggesh-Ramya starrer 'Neerdose' being directed by Vijayaprasad has been taken over by producer Ashu Bedra of 'Radhya Kalyana' fame. 'Neerdose' was earlier started by Sudheendra and friends and due to financial constraints Sudheendra backed out of the project. After that the film was left mid-way and there were many attempts to revive the project. There was a news that Skanda Audio Prasanna has taken over the project. But somehow the film didn't continue.

Now there is a news that Ashu Bedra who is producing the famous 'Radha Kalayana' serial for Zee Kannada has taken over the project and will be reviving it soon. Now that the film has been taken over, it has to be seen whether Ramya is still a part of the project or some other heroine steps in her shoes?

Actor Darshan has been roped in to be a part of a special song for Nagarahavu which is all set to release on the 16th of this month. The special song is a tribute to Dr Vishnuvardhan.

The shooting for the song will be held on Friday and Saturday in Mysore. Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya will be choreographing the song. The song is written by Kaviraj, while Gurukiran is the music director.

Though Diganth-Ramya starrer Nagarahavu is in news for sometime, the film crew had not divulged any details about Diganth or Ramya or how they look in the film. Now the makers have released the first look of Ramya and this is how she looks in the film.

Ramya plays a snake woman in this film and earlier the film was supposed to be titled as 'Nagakanye'. However, the film has been titled as 'Nagarahavu'. The trailer of the film is all set to be released on Monday night.

Jayantilal Gada of Pen Movies is presenting 'Nagarahavu', while his son Dhaval Jayantilal Gada along with Sohail Ansari has produced the film. Though the film has been directed by well known Telugu director Kodi Ramakrishna, the film is exclusively been made only in Kannada

The 3D standies featuring the posters of Dr Vishnuvardhan was unveiled by actor Aniruddh at the Gopalan Arcade in Bangalore. The standies will be seen in many multiplexes across Bangalore very soon. Earlier, 101 feet poster of Dr Vishnuvardhan from the film 'Nagarahavu' was released on the 06th death anniversary of the late star at the Abhiman Studio in Bangalore. Now the team has released the standies of the film with the same poster of Dr Vishuvardhan.

The team of 'Nagarahavu' has created Vishnuvardhan through digital head technology for the film 'Nagarahavu'. Vishnuvardhan plays a pivotal role in the film and it is being said that it will be his 201st film in his career spanning four decades.

The Diganth-Ramya starrer film was launched almost four years back and the shooting of the film was held in Bangalore, Hyderabad and other places. However, the film was delayed as director Kodi Ramakrishna was hospitalised. Now Kodi Ramakrishna who has recovered has decided to release the film shortly.

Most expected movie Nagarahavu audio will be released on August 14th. Recently trailer of the movie was released. Movie is produced by Sallaudin and Sajid Qureshi. Though the film has been directed by well known Telugu director Kodi Ramakrishna, the film is exclusively been made only in Kannada.

Diganth, Ramya, Sadhu Kokila are in the lead role.The attraction of the movie is Dr Vishnuvardhan playing a prominent role in the movie. Vishnuvardhan has been recreated through this film with digital technology.

If everything goes as planned, Diganth-Ramya starrer 'Nagarahavu' which is said to be the 201st film of Dr.Vishnuvardhan is likely to be released on the 14th of October.

Earlier, the film was said to release in the Dasara season. Now it is being said that the film is most probably to release on the 14th of October along with Dhananjay starrer 'Badmash'.

'Nagarahavu' stars Diganth, Ramya, Saikumar and others in prominent roles. Vishnuvardhan has been created by digital head technology. Gurukiran has composed the music of the film, while H C Venu is the cameraman. Veteran director Kodi Ramakrishna has scripted the film along with directing it.

Nagarahavu movie which has been made In Kannada has been dubbed and released in Tamil Nadu in the name Shivanagam. Today, Chennai police commissioner has ordered not the screen the movie there.

Producer had made huge arrangements and wanted to release in 400 plus theatres. Since Tamil organisations has called for the ban of the movie in Tamil Nadu. Sources said today movie was released in Chennai and Tamil organisations started the protest. Sensing the trouble police commissioner ordered the theaters not to screen.

Ramya plays the lead role in the film Nagarahavu that is releasing this week in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

Diganth-Ramya starrer 'Nagarahavu' is all set to be released in the newly renovated Sharada theater near Corporation circle in Bangalore.

Earlier, the age old theater was closed down for renovation in the last few months. Producer-distributor Jack Manju has taken the theater for lease and was planning to open the theater with 'Kotigobba 2'. However, the renovation work got delayed due to various reasons and now the film will be finally seeing a grand opening with the release of 'Nagarahavu'.

Akhila Karnataka Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kichcha Sudeepa Sena Samithi will be decorating the cutout of Dr Vishnuvardhan with a huge garland on the release day of 'Nagarahavu'

The trailer of Vishnuvardhan-Diganth-Ramya starrer Nagarahavu is all set to be released on Monday night at the Bhumika Theater in Bangalore.The makers have decided to release the trailer at 7.30 PM and the fourth show of 'U Turn' will be cancelled.

After a long gap Dr Vishnuvardhan's fans were in a joyous mood as the trailer of Nagarahavu was released on Monday night at the Bhumika Theater in Bangalore. Director Kodi Ramakrishna, Peter, actress Ramya, music director Gurukiran, producers Sallauddin and Sajid Quereshi were there for the release of the trailer and the dignitaries found it very hard to release the trailer because the fans of Vishnuvardhan thronged the stage and was eager for the first look of the film.

Kodi Ramakrishna said he wanted to do a film with Dr Vishnuvardhan when he was alive, but couldn't do due to various reasons. Kodi Ramakrishna was happy that his desire to do a film with Vishnuvardhan has finally been fulfilled.

Tamil organisations have called for a ban on the Tamil version of the film Nagarahavu starring Ramya. Several Tamil organisations have issued a statement to this effect. Ramya plays the lead role in the film Nagarahavu that is releasing this week in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

Since Ramya is a Kannadiga her film should not release in Tamil Nadu the organisations have announced. The film is titled Shivanagam in Tamil. The film was announced to be releasing in 1,100 theatres in all three languages. But with trouble erupting in Tamil Nadu it is to be seen if the Tamil version of the film released.

Actress Ramya has launched her own production house named Apple Box Studios. She made the announcement on her social media pages this morning. Two films are already under production from the new banner which will be released in theatres. 

AppleBox will also venture into creating content for OTT platforms subsequently. "AppleBox is currently on the threshold of producing two theatrical films which will be distributed by KRG Studios. I am very excited about these projects," Ramya has stated. 

Ramya has thanked Vijay Kiragandur, Jayanna, Yogi G Raj and Karthik Gowda for their encouragement. 

The new banner takes its name from the apple box, wooden compartments used on film sets. Ramya says her production company is a 'boutique', which means a small but fashionable business. It could mean that Apple Box may be looking at creating niche content rather than big-budget extravaganza. 

In days to come, with further announcements about her films, fans will get to know the real scope of the production house. 

Ramya has also hinted that she will be returning to acting. She has said "I will be returning to films," and she would "also be producing," which could only mean that acting is also on the cards.

Actress Ramya who was not seen in public for the last one year on Tuesday Ramya met the kin of farmers who ended their lives in the last few days due to various reasons. Ramya who is the ex Member of Parliament from Mandya visited Honnanayakanahalli and Pankanahalli in Mandya taluk and Ganadahosuru in Pandavapura Taluk and met the kin of farmers who ended their lives. Ramya handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 each to the kin of the dead farmers.

Later talking to media persons, Ramya said she was abroad for higher studies and is now back in Bangalore.

'Mahendar Manassalli Mumtaz' is being produced by actor-director Nagashekhar. Nagashekhar says that the film has a very special role for Ramya and he is confident that he will convince Ramya to be a part of the film.

'Mahendar Manassalli Mumtaz' is being written and directed by S Mahendar and will be produced by Nagashekhar. The team has told the story to actor Ganesh and Ganesh is yet to give a nod to act in the film. A Pakistani actress will be acting in the film as the heroine.

The film is all set to be launched on Nagashekhar's birthday on November 11th. Satya Hegade is the cameraman, while Arjun Janya is the music director.

Former actress and Congress social media cell in charge Ramya has said she is not contesting the upcoming Assembly election in Karnataka. After the confusion over Ambareesh contesting from Mandya constituency there was speculation that Ramya would be brought in his place.

But Ramya has brushed aside all speculation by making it clear that she will not be contesting. The suspense over who will contest from Mandya therefore continues. From the last two decades Ambareesh has made Mandya his political base. In recent years Ramya has emerged as another important politician from the district after winning a Lok Sabha bypoll from there which she subsequently lost.

There is hectic political activity in Mandya involving two Sandalwood stars. Veteran actor and politician Ambareesh is said to be reluctant to contest from Mandya Assembly constituency.

Chief minister Siddaramaiah and others are said to be trying to convince him to contest. In the meantime there are strong rumours that Ramya may contest from Mandya constituency in the absence of Ambareesh. Either way it will one of the stars from Sandalwood who will contest from Mandya. Ambareesh has recently completed acting in Ambi Ninge Vyasaayto.

He was a minister for housing in the outgoing Assembly for two years before the post was taken away from him. There has been doubts about his contesting from Mandya for the past few months. The suspense has continued even after his name has been announced as a party candidate.
