Even as the disturbing memories of November 2016 of the shooting of Masthigudi film which killed Anil and Uday are still fresh in the minds, there has been yet another similar incident which has taken away the life of two innocents.
It is learnt that the two, a woman and a child, who are declared dead had come to see the shooting of the film. The film team led by the stunt choreographer were shooting action sequences near a petrol bunk at Bagalur when the mishap took place at around 4 pm on Friday.
The team which was gearing up for a car blast scene, had set up for explosion of cylinder in the car. However, when the cylinder accidentally exploded, the pieces which took off from blast hit the two, severely injuring them. They were later declared dead. Another person is seriously injured too.
The film 'Ranam’ which is being directed by V Samudra features Chiranjeevi Sarja as a police officer and Chetan as a revolutionist. R. Srinivas is producing it through his R S Productions banner.
