Ganesh starrer 'Orange' was launched on Sunday in Bangalore. One of the highlights of the launch is, the film was launched on the 10th wedding anniversary of Ganesh and Shilpa.

The shooting for the film will start soon and before that, a photo shoot will be held soon. Ganesh will be seen in a different getup in this film. The heroine of the film is yet to be finalised soon.

'Orange' is being written and directed by Prashanth Raj. 'Bahaddur' Chethan and Nataraj are writing the songs for the film. The heroine and the music director are yet to be finalized.

For three years now Shilpa Ganesh, the wife of popular Sandalwood star Ganesh has been an active member of the BJP. She joined the party in April 2013. She was made the state vice-president of the BJP's Manila Morcha or the women's wing.

But Ganesh has never been active in politics himself but supported his wife.

Now after BS Yedurupappa was selected as the state BJP chief it was not just Shilpa who went to congratulate him personally but also Ganesh. It was this gesture by Ganesh that has made Sandalwood folks sit up and take notice and wonder if Ganesh is also looking to take a plunge into active politics. Moreover the next State Assembly election is only 2 years away.

Golden Star Ganesh is getting married this month. Sources closer to Chitraloka and also the most popular star of the Kannada film industry said that the marriage that the actor shis marrying in the month of February.

The story was being hotly followed by Chitraloka for the last three weeks. A hot chase for information got strong assertions from irrefutable sources, but yet the portal wanted to get the information straight from the horse's mouth. Though Ganesh initially expressed over this news, the particulars about his marraige delivered by the portal was on strong grounds.

Ganesh wanted the date of the marriage not be announced with the news item. Therefore respecting his desire, we have just announced confirmation of his marriage plans with Shilpa..

Marriage will take place near Brahmavar in Udupi district, and reception will be held in Bangalore in the fourth week of February. 

Ganesh and Shilpa Ganesh who became proud parents of a baby boy last week has named their son as Vihaan in a simple naming ceremony held at Ganesh's new residence in Rajarajeshwari Nagar.

Earlier, there was news that Ganesh's son would be named as Ranbir according to Ganesh's daughter Charitrya's wish. However, the couple decided to name the baby boy as Vihaan.

Only few friends and relatives were present at the naming ceremony.

As reported by Chitraloka, a few days ago, shooting of songs for Munagru Male Part 2 is taking place in Slovenia, in the Balkan region of Europe. It is one of the few foreign  films to be shot in that country. Some of the most famous films shot there include Jackie Chan's Armour of God and Disney's Chronicles of Narnia.

Sandalwood is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the original Mungaru Male directed by Yograj Bhat, which was a landmark in Kannada. While MM confined itself to locations in Karnataka and revived public interest in Jog Falls, one of the most famous tourist spots in the state, Part 2 has gone international. Part 2 is directed by another popular Sandalwood director Shashank. While the original made cinematograph Krishna a star, Shashank has roped in his favourite Shekar Chandra for Part 2.

Ganesh's wife and politician Shilpa Ganesh on Wednesday released the second song of 'Mugulu Nage' at her residence in Bangalore.

It was Shilpa Ganesh's birthday on Wednesday and the team of the film released a song called 'Roopasi' from Shilpa Ganesh. Well known lyricist Jayanth Kaikini, director B Suresha and others were present at the occasion.

'Mugulu Nage' has four heroines and Apoorva, 'Nikitha Narayan, Ashitha and Amulya have acted opposite Ganesh in the film. Apart from that Ananth Nag, Rangayana Raghu and others play prominent roles in the film. Yogaraj Bhatt himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of 'Mugulunage'.

Shilpa wife of actor-director 'Golden Star' Ganesh has given birth to a baby boy in Bangalore on Thursday. Shilpa was recently admitted to Cloud Nine Hospital in Bangalore and on Thursday afternoon she has given birth to a baby boy. Meanwhile, Ganesh is shooting for his latest film 'Mungaru Male 2' in Yellapura.

Earlier, the couple had announced that if it is a baby boy this time, then they would love to name the baby as Ranbir according to the wish of their elder daughter Charitrya. Likewise, Shilpa has given birth to a baby boy and is already known as Ranbir.

ಪ್ರೀತ್ಸೋದ್ ತಪ್ಪಾ, ಒಂದಾಗೋಣ ಬಾ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜೋಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಿಂಚಿದ್ದ.. ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದ ರವಿಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಜೋಡಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ತೆರೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದಾಗುವ ಸೂಚನೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಜೋಗಿ ಪ್ರೇಮ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಕೆಡಿ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ರವಿಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಅಣ್ಣಯ್ಯಪ್ಪ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಅಣ್ಣಯ್ಯಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ ಜೋಡಿಯಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ.

1998ರಲ್ಲಿ ತೆರೆಕಂಡ 'ಪ್ರಿತ್ಸೋದ್ ತಪ್ಪಾ' ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಮೂಲಕ ರವಿಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾದಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, 2003ರಲ್ಲಿ 'ಒಂದಾಗೋಣ ಬಾ' ಹಾಗೂ 2005ರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ನಟನೆಯ 'ಆಟೋ ಶಂಕರ್' ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ 17 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಅನೌನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ.

ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್ ನಟ ಸಂಜಯ್ ದತ್ ವಿಲನ್ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದು ಮುಂದಿನ ಸರದಿ ನಟಿ ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರದ್ದು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಧ್ರುವ ಸರ್ಜಾ ರೌಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಧ್ರುವ ಸರ್ಜಾ 23 ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 18 ಕೆಜಿ ತೂಕ ಇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 1970ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ನೈಜ ಘಟನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, 70ರ ದಶಕದ ಗ್ಯಾಂಗ್ವಾರ್, ರೌಡಿಸಂ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿದೆಯಂತೆ. 1970ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಡರ್ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವರನ್ನು ಫೈಟರ್ಗಳು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅಂತಹ ಒಬ್ಬ ಫೈಟರ್ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ರುವ ಸರ್ಜಾ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಬಾಡಿ ಬಿಲ್ಡ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನಟರ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವೇಗ ಬಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಂಬರೀಷ್, ಜಗ್ಗೇಶ್, ರಮ್ಯಾ, ಉಮಾಶ್ರೀ, ಜಯಮಾಲಾ, ತಾರಾ, ಭಾವನಾ, ಬಿ.ಸಿ.ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರ ಕಥೆ ಬೇರೆ. ದರ್ಶನ್, ಸುದೀಪ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರ ಕಥೆಯೇ ಬೇರೆ. ಆದರೆ, ನಾವಿಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳ್ತಿರೋದು ಗಣೇಶ್ ಸಮಾಚಾರ.

ಗೋಲ್ಡನ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಗಣೇಶ್‍ಗೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಹೊಸದೇನಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಂತ ಅವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಜೊತೆ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ. ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ, ಫೈರ್‍ಬ್ರಾಂಡ್. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಟಿ ರಮ್ಯಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಟ್ವಿಟರ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ತರಾಟೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ ಮೊದಲಿಗರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
