The last couple of weeks did not see much releases in Kannada. But this Friday (November 08th), seven Kannada films are all set to hit the screens across Karnataka.
Off the seven, the much anticipated film is of course, Ravichandran's 'Aa Drishya' which is a remake of Tamil hit 'Dhruvangal Padinaru'. The film was supposed to release on the 15th of November. However, the film got preponed because of 'Ayushmanbhava'. 'Aa Drishya' is produced by K Manju and directed by Shivaganesh.
The second in the race is Ravi Basrur's 'Girmit'. The film is in the buzz because children play a prominent role in the film. More than 200 children have acted in the film and one of the highlights is actors like Yash, Radhika Pandith, Achyuth Kumar, Rangayana Raghu, Sudha Belawadi and others have given voices to the children. The film is being released in five languages including Kannada.
Apart from 'Aa Drishya' and 'Girmit', the other five films include Niranjan Wodeyar's 'Ranabhoomi', Balu Nagendra's 'Kapatanataka Patradhari', 'Eesha Mahesha', 'Rana Hedi' and 'Papi Chirayu'.
Which among the seven will woo the audience is yet to be seen.
