Rishab Shetty's 'Bell Bottom' directed by Jayatheertha has completed a successful 50 days at Veeresh, Kamakya and other theaters.

'Bell Bottom' was released in the month of February and was an instant success. The film not only got good appreciation from all over, the satellite and digital rights were sold for a good amount. Apart from that, the Telugu and Hindi remake rights of the film was also sold.

One of the most busiest sandalwood actresses at present - Hariprriya, is all set for her latest release - Bell Bottom, paired opposite director turned actor Rishab Shetty. Directed by Jayatheertha, the suspense crime thriller will turn the time backwards to 1980s with the protagonist Rishab Shetty as detective Divakar is finally ready to solve the mysteries on the big screen.

With this one being a period crime drama, the team had to work hard to bring 1980s back to life on the screen with special care going to costume, the locations and putting up specially made film sets for the purpose.

“I was thrilled when I was offered this project. I have always thrived for such unique roles. Playing Kusuma was a challenge which I dearly loved. Utmost care is taken when it comes to the costumes. I had to match the lifestyles and the mannerisms from the 80s,” says Hariprriya.

The team recently made it to the headlines by releasing the first ever audio trailer in the history of sandalwood. Detective Divakar in 'Bell Bottom’ is ready to crack the case from Feb 15 at a cinema near you.

The Kirik Party director Rishab Shetty makes his debut as a full-fledged hero in Jayatheertha's suspense drama. Blended with perfect comedy, it is set in the 80s and hence the title bell bottom. But, it has more to it than a mere style statement. The tale is stitched well around an adventurous detective by name Diwakar portrayed by Rishab Shetty.

Unlike the most detective tales, this one sets the tempo on a lighter note. It is the humour which makes all the difference than the case which Diwakar literally breaks his head in solving it.

Diwakar, a police constable who is on probationary period solves a murder case within a month after he joins the duty. His father played by the talented Achyuth Kumar is overjoyed but soon Diwakar encounters peculiar thefts from police stations! Will he able to solve the mysterious case, is the crux of this tale.

The making of this suspense drama is one its strength which effectively brings the 80s on the screen. Right from the costumes, to the locations and everything back from the 80s has been brilliantly made use by the team to make it look authentic on the screen.

If Rishab does a probing act, it is Hariprriya who steals the show as Kusuma. The maturity in her performance stands out and her retro look and costume makes the audience fall in love with her character which plays a vital role in the end.

ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹರಿಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಜೋಡಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಜಯತೀರ್ಥ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಬೆಲ್‍ಬಾಟಂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಮೋಷನ್ ಭರ್ಜರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಡಿಫರೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಟ್ಲಾಸ್ ಸೈಕಲ್ಲು, ಹೊಲಿಗೆ ಮೆಷಿನ್ನು, ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಲಾಟರಿ, ಹಲ್ಲುಪುಡಿ, ಥ್ರಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ, ಸ್ನೋ ಪೌಡರು.. ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಿಕ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರೋ ಬೆಲ್‍ಬಾಟಂ, ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಕಾಮಿಡಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗಿ..
