After seven years in the film industry and having acted in 13 Telugu, 4 Tamil and three in Malayalam films, the Bengaluru girl Dhanya Balakrishnan finally set to make her debut in Kannada with Anoop Ramaswamy Kashyap directed Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha. The film is releasing tomorrow in theatres.

The actress feels that it is not just her golden opportunity to act in Kannada film but also fulfils her father's dream to see her act in a Kannada film.

On seven years to take up a Kannada film, Dhanya says that she wanted to do a project which had a prominent role for her to portray and Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha provided her the perfect opportunity wherein her character has an equal importance to that of the male protagonist.

Further, the actress reveals that she grabbed the golden opportunity once she realised that it was being made by the makers of Gultoo film.

After delivering back-to-back hits, the newly married actor Rishi is all set to return with another golden chance, and this time it is going to be from the makers of Gultoo. He plays the lead in Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakaasha directed by Anoop Ramaswamy and produced by Devaraja R, Prashant Reddy S And Janardhan Chikkanna.

His previous two ventures as actor - Operation Alamelamma and Kavaludaari has been successful at the box office.

The trailer of Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakaasha has crossed 300 k views in less than a week after it was released, making it one of the most anticipated movies of the season, which is scheduled for release on Dec 20.

The launch was attended by many big personalities of Sandalwood. Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce president Sa Ra Govindu, Shivarajakumar, Rakshith Shetty, Santhosh Anandaram and others were present at the occasion. Shivarajakumar sounded the clap for the film.

The film got delayed due to various reasons and even before the release of 'Kavalu Daari', Puneeth has started three more films called' Mayabazaar 2016', 'Production No 3' and 'Law'. Now 'Kavalu Daari' will be releasing first and the other three films which are in various stages of production will follow soon.

It is not easy to make a film that has both comedy and suspense. But that is exactly what director Suni has manged to create. Operation Alamelamma is one of those rare films which combines to various genre and brings out the best in both. This could have been purely a comedy love story or a kidnap thriller. But Suni manages to do a two in one film with success.

The film is about an orphan Purmy who makes a living working at a vegetable Mandi. He is caught by the police while checking a bag. It turns out that the bag has Rs 25 lakh which has to be paid to a kidnapper. Purmy is caught in a serious situation and has to prove his innocence. In the flashback we see how Purmy falls in love with a school teacher Ananya. 

There is suspense in both the narratives. The kidnap drama suspense is maintained by the love story suspense. Both these tracks merge into one story towards the climax. How it is interestingly done can be watched on the screen. There is some excellent acting by Rishi, Shradda Srinath and Rajesh Nataranga. There is subtle comedy in the narrative that is induced by the situations as well as the dialogues. 

Among the technicians the photography by new cinematographer Abhishek Kasargod impresses. There is good music and the songs are a delight. The BGM fits the story perfectly and there is not a frame out of place in editing. 

Suni has managed to create an interesting film that gives the audience a sense of fulfilment. It is one of the better films of 2017 and an important addition to the new kind of films that is coming out of Sandalwood.

Operation Alamelamma is yet to release and the entire film team is still busy with its upcoming release on July 21. But the chatter about the film's sequel is only getting louder by the day. Even before the audio launch of the film some producers has approached director Suni to make a sequel to it.

This film is produced by Suni himself. Sources say that Suni is open to the idea but will make a commitment only after getting feedback from the audience to Operation Alamelamma. This is a comedy thriller and not easy to pull off. But the trailers and music have become big sensations and there is huge expectations about this film.

Suni has made a sequel to his first film Simpleag Ond Love Story. So he is not new to such ideas. As of now there is suspense about the sequel to Operation Alamelamma.

Rishi's new film 'Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha' is complete and the film is in the post production stage. Meanwhile, actor Puneeth has sung a song for the film recently.

This is Puneeth's fourth song in the recent times. The actor had sung songs for Ganesh's 'Geetha', Prem's 'Premam Poojyam' and Anish's 'Ramarjuna' in the last 15 days. Now Puneeth has sung a song for Rishi's 'Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha'.

'Sarvajanikarige Suvarnakasha' is produced by 'Gultoo' producer Prashanth Reddy and director Janardhan Chikkanna along with Devaraj R. The film is directed by debutante Anoop Ramaswamy Kashyap. Mithun Mukandan is the music director. The film stars Rishi, Dattanna, Shalini, Rangayana Raghu and others in prominent roles.

Well known directors Yogaraj Bhatt and Shashank coming forward together to produce a film is not a new news. The film which has been titled as 'Seere' has Rishi playing the hero and now Rachita Ram has been roped in as the heroine of the film.

The film was launched earlier this year and after that the team was busy with the pre-production work. Now the team is ready to go on floors soon and the casting is being finalised. Among the star cast, Rachita has been finalized as the heroine and the other artistes are yet to be finalised.

'Seere' is being jointly produced by Yogaraj Movies and Shashank Cinemas. The film is being directed by small screen director Mohan Singh, who has assisted Yogaraj Bhatt in his previous films. Mohan Singh is directing the film based on a story by Yogaraj Bhatt. Jnanamurthy is the cinematographer.

The new film has been titled as 'Sakalakalavallabha' and is being written and directed by Jacob Verghese. Jacob's last ffilm was 'Chambal', but the film failed at the box-office. Now Jacob is planning to do a film with Rishi and the actor has also given a green signal to act in the film.

'Sakalakalavallabha' is in the pre-production stage and more details about the film are yet awaited.
