Kannada film industry's magnum opus 'Kurukshetra' which was released on the 9th of August has joined the 100 crore club and is doing good business all over in spite of rains and floods.

'Kurukshetra' had collected 13 crores in Karnataka alone on the first day of it's release. The film has been released in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil languages and the film has collected 100 crores from three languages so far. Darshan fans on Wednesday celebrated the success by cutting a cake at his residence.

Producer Muniratna had earlier announced that he is planning to release the film on the 09th of August. But there was a change in the release date and the film was preponed by one week. But though the release date was nearing, producer Muniratna couldn't concentrate much on the film because he was busy in politics. Now Muniratna has decided to postpone the film and release it on the 09th of August, as announced first.

'Muniratna' is based on Mahabharatha and is directed by senior director Naganna. The film stars Darshan, Arjun Sarja, Ravichandran, Ambarish, Nikhil Kumar, Shashikumar, Sonu Sood, Haripriya, Meghana Raj and others in prominent roles. V Harikrishna is the music director.

Producer Muniratna in a recent press meet had announced that he is planning to release the film on the 09th of August. Now there is a change in the plan and the film will be releasing in five different languages across Indian on the 02nd of August.

The team of 'Odeya' had announced that the trailer will be released today morning in the Anand Audio Channel of You Tube. Likewise, the trailer was released and in just nine hours, the action filled trailer has registered one million views and is going strong.

The shooting for Darshan starrer 'Odeya' has been completed with the completion of songs in Switzerland.

A 50 member team of 'Odeya' had gone to Switzerland to shoot two songs for the film under the choreography of Kalai master. With the completion of the two songs, the shooting has been completed.

Darshan starrer 'Robert' is all set to be released on the 11th of March across Karnataka. Meanwhile, the advance booking for the film will start today at 10 AM.

'Robert' is being written and directed by Tarun Sudhir and produced by Umapathy Srinivas Gowda. Director Tarun Sudhir's next - Roberrt starring Challenging Star in a unique role, is these days camped in the historical place of Varanasi.

After completing the shoot in the coastal land of Mangaluru, the team headed North, starting with Varanasi and other places. Challenging Star Darshan who was busy with the promotions of Odeya has joined the Roberrt along with others including the heroine Asha Bhat.

The tour was to start from Tumkur after which it was to head to Chitradurga, Davanagere, Dharawad, Hubballi, Haveri, Shimoga, Hassan, Tiptur, Gundlupet, Mysore, Mandya and finally end in Maddur. Darshan, Asha Bhatt, Ravishankar, Vinod Prabhakar, director Tarun Sudhir, producer Umapathi Srinivas Gowda and others were a part of this 'Vijaya Yatre'.

However, due to a sudden increase in the Corona cases, the team has postponed indefinitely. Darshan took to his Twitter account and annnounced the change in the plans. Darshan has said that the team is planning to visit many cities once the situation is under control.
