Actor Darshan on Thursday night released the songs of Satish Neenasam and Shruthi Hariharan starrer 'Beautiful Manasugalu' at Cinepolis in Bangalore.

The audio release of the film was attended by Tabla Nani, Achyuthu Kumar, Satish Neenasam, Vijay Prasad, Anup Seelin and others and Darshan released the songs of the film amidst a huge applause.

'Beautiful Manasugalu's the fourth film of director Jayatheertha, who had earlier directed 'Olave Mandara'. The film is based on a real incident which happened in 2012. based on the incident, Jayatheertha has written the story and screenplay of the film. Skanda Audio Prasanna is the producer of the film. Bharath B J is the music director while Kiran Hampapur is the cameraman.

Challenging Star Darshan on Friday evening released the songs of Yogi starrer 'Kolara 1990' composed by Hemanth Kumar G R.

Apart from Darshan, former Chief Minister and producer H D Kumaraswamy was supposed to release the trailer of the film. However, the former Chief Minister was not present due to various reasons. On behalf of him, Kodihalli Chandrashekhar released the trailer. Yogi, Naina, ACP Shivakumar and others were present during the occasion,

'Kolara 1990' is being written and directed by Aryaa Mahesh and produced by R Lakshminarayana Gowda and Ramesh. Lahari Music has released the songs.

Actor Darshan who is riding high with the release of his latest film 'Airavatha' has released the trailer of Chiranjeevi Sarja-Amulya starrer 'Ram-Leela' being produced by Soundarya Jagadish.

Darshan and Soundarya Jagadish share a cordial relationship and Darshan had even acted in 'Snehitaru' being produced by Soundarya Jagadish.

Darshan said he is very much happy to release the trailer of 'Ram-Leela' and wished the team a huge success. 'Ram-Leela' is expected to hit the screens in November.

Challenging Star' Darshan on Sunday released the first look and teaser of Dhanveer's second film 'Bumper' and has wished super success to the team.

Danveer on Sunday celebrated his birthday on the occasion of his birthday, the first look and teaser was released. The team visited Darshan who was busy shooting for his latest film 'Robert'. Darshan who has always been supporting the actor, released the first look and teaser of the film and wished him huge success. Santhu, Tarun Sudhir, Chethan Kumar, Supreeth, Karisubbu annd others were present at the occasion.

'Bumper' is being produced by Supreeth and directed by Santhu who is currently busy with the post production of his new film 'Bichchugatti'. Chethan Kumar of 'Bharaate' fame has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Nakul Abhayankar is the music composer.

'Simple' Suni's new film 'Bazaar' is all set to be released in the month of September. Meanwhile, the songs of the film was released by Darshan on Tuesday.

The audio release of 'Bazaar' was held at the Bunt Sangha in Bangalore on Tuesday and actor Darshan came over as chief guest and released the songs of the film. MLA V Somanna was also present at the occasion.

'Bazaar' is directed by Thimmegowda under Bharathi Film Productions banner. M L Prasanna has written the story, while Suni has written the screenplay apart from directing it. Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cinematographer, while Ravi Basrur is the music director.

The shooting for Dinakar Thoogudeepa's new film 'Life Jothe Ondu Selfie' which stars Prem, Prajwal and Haripriya is completed and the songs of the film was released by Darshan recently.

Producer Samruddhi Manjunath had organised the audio release on his birthday. It was incidentally his wife's and son's birthday also. Their birthdays were celebrated after the release of the songs. Darshan, Devaraj, Aditya, Yashas Surya, Minister Puttaraju and others were present during the occasion. 

Dinakar's wife Manasa has written the story for Dinakar is back with 'Life Jothe Ondu Selfie'. Raghu Shastry and Chintan are writing the lyrics. V Harikrishna is composing the music for the film, while Niranjan Babu is the cameraman.

The shooting for Pratham starrer 'MLA' is complete and the songs of the film composed by Vikram Subramanya was released by actor Darshan on Tuesday Afternoon.

Apart from Darshan, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce president Sa Ra Govindu, N M Suresh, Pratham, Sonal Montario and others were present during the occasion.

'MLA' is being written and directed by Maurya, while Venkatesh Redy is the music director. Krishna Sarathy is the cinematographer.

'Challenging Star' Darshan on Monday night released the songs of Jaggesh's new film 'Premier Padmini' being directed by Ramesh Indira.

The audio release of 'Premier Padmini' was organised at the Sheraton Hotel in Bangalore and Darshan came over as the chief guest and released the songs of the film composed by Arjun Janya.

'Premier Padmini' stars Jaggesh, Madhoo, Pramod, Hita Chandrashekhar, Sudharani and others in prominent roles. 'Premier Padmini' marks the debut of Shruthi Naidu as producer to film industry. Advaitha Gurumurthy is the cameraman.

Kishore-Priymani starrer 'Nanna Prakara' is all set to release on the 23rd of August. Meanwhile, the songs of the film as well as the trailer was released by 'Challenging Star' Darshan on Thursday evening in Bangalore.

The audio and trailer release event was organised and Darshan came over as chief guest and released the songs as well as trailer. Apart from Darshan, former minister Zameer Ahmed Khan, Cheluvarayaswamy, Magadi Balakrishna and the team members were present at the occasion.

'Nanna Prakara' is written and directed by debutante Vinay Balaji. The film stars Priyamani, Kishore, Mayuri, Vihan, Niranjan Deshpande and others in prominent roles. Manohar Joshi is the cinematographer.

Actor Darshan on Saturday night released the songs of 'Once More Kaurava' at Sri Rama Mandir Grounds in Rajajinagar. The songs of the film has been composed by Sridhar Sambram. The audio release of the film was attended by many celebrities of Kannada film industry.

Once More Kaurava' is directed by S Mahendar, who had earlier directed 'Kaurava' starring B C Patil many years back. Now Mahendar is back with 'Once More Kaurava'. This time actor Naresh Gowda is the hero of the film, while Anusha is the heroine.

The film is being produced by Naresh Gowda himself and B A Madhu who is one of the regulars in S Mahendar's camp has written the story, screenplay and dialogues. A V Krishna Kumar is the cameraman.

The trailer of Mitra's debut film as a hero 'Raga', was launched by 'Challenging Star' Darshan on Wednesday evening at the Veeresh Theater in Bangalore.

Apart from Darshan, Avinash, Ramesh Bhatt, Ravishankar Gowda, Tabala Nani, M G Ramamurthy, Roopika, Tarun Sudhir, Dinakar Thoogudeepa and others were also present during the trailer release of the film.

The film is the debut film of Mitra Entertainers and stars Mitra, Bhama, Avinash, Jaijagadish, Ramesh Bhatt, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, 'Kaddipudi' Chandru and others. Roopika and Niranjan Deshpande are see in cameo roles. 'Raaga' is being scripted and directed by P C Shekhar. Vaidi is the cameraman, while Arjun Janya is the music director of the film. 

There is not even an iota of doubt that farmers are the backbone of a nation, for it to prosper. Challenging Star Darshan, who himself is a dairy farmer along with taking care of several animals in his farm, salutes farmers on the occasion of National Farmer's Day which was observed yesterday across India.

The star actor took to his micro-blogging site twitter wishing his fellow farmers on the day. He writes that a nation prospers only when farmers prospers, and it is because of them we get food to eat. He salutes them for being the backbone of our nation.

The actor is currently busy shooting for Roberrt, as the first look is set to released by the makers.

Actor Darshan has said that he is not interested in multi-starrers and if there is remake multi-starrer then he may accept the offer. Darshan was talking to few media persons after the trailer release of his latest film 'Viraat'. When asked about whether he is okay with acting in a multi-starrer, the 'Challenging Star' said he is not interested in acting in a multi-starrer.

'I don't find any director who can direct a multi-starrer. If I get a chance to act in a remake, then I may do the film as it would be easy. Otherwise, I would not act in a multi-starrer if it is a straight subject' says Darshan.

Darshan has once again ruled out handling reality shows or hosting a show on television. Rumours started a couple of days ago after an alleged claim by a TV channel that he has agreed to host a show for them. Darshan has clarified that he is not into reality shows and would not do it.

This is not the first time that Darshan has clarified that he will not be part of any television shows. Every year for the last few years Darshan's name has been dragged into the issue and there is tremendous pressure on him to accept to host a TV show. But Darshan has stayed away from it. Even though he has accepted to be a guest on a couple of shows, he has made it clear he will not host a TV show.

Darshan's first producer MG Ramamurthy, who produced Majestic, has welcomed Darshan's move. Speaking to Chitraloka, he said, "I know him from a very long time. He is not the kind of person who is after money. It is secondary to him. TV channels are ready to pay him whatever he asks. But he has not agreed. If you remember film producers like us had protested against reality shows being hosted by film stars and it affects the film industry. There has been no response from other stars. But Darshan has made it clear that he will not participate. This shows his concern for film industry and film producers. Even without asking he has taken this decision and we welcome it."

Actor Darshan has said not to spread rumors about his future films and he himself will confirm as the time comes.

Recently, there were rumors about Darshan's 51st and 52nd film. There were rumors that Darshan will be acting in a film produced by B Suresha. Later, it was said that Darshan will be acting in the remake of Tamil hit 'Veeram' to be produced by Sandesh Nagaraj. So, Darshan himself has put an end to all the rumors saying that he himself will talk about his films and not to spread false rumors.

'Currently I am acting in my 50th film 'Kurukshetra' which I will talk in a couple of months. Meanwhile, I have noticed many rumors about my 51st and 52nd films. There is time a lot of time for those films and I request not to spread false rumors about those films' tweeted Darshan.

Darshan starrer 'Kurukshetra' which was released on the 09th of August has completed a 50 day run last week. Meanwhile, Darshan has thanked his fans and viewers for making the film successful.

Darshan who was in Kenya for a vacation has returned back to Bangalore on Sunday. The actor took to his Twitter account and thanked all his fans for making the film a huge success. 'Producing a mythological film in these days is a huge task. I thank the whole team for making the producer's dream come true and the fans for the huge success of the film' tweeted Darshan.

'Kurukshetra' stars Darshan, Arjun Sarja, Ravichandran, Ambarish, Nikhil Kumar, Shashikumar, Sonu Sood, Haripriya, Meghana Raj and others in prominent roles.The film directed by senior director Naganna, while Muniratna is the producer. V Harikrishna is the music director.

Challenging star Darshan is the first south Indian to receive Global Integrity Award on 19th October.

After the award Darshan was emotional in his speech. He said `This is a rare privilege for the person from the land of cauvery landing here to receive the award.  Thank you so much for this prestigious honor. I would like to receive this award on behalf of Kannada film industry and I dedicate this award to all my producers, directors and to all my fans. Only few people are lucky enough to receive this kind of recognition. This is the most memorable moment of my life. I want to thank two people in my life MG Ramamurthy who is my first movie producer and director PN Sathya.

Challenging star Darshan will be honored in UK. The rare honor comes to Darshan this month and he will be flying to London especially for this event. 

According to the sources Darshan will be flying to London on 18th and will be receiving the honor at UK on 19th and will return to the shooting of Kurukshetra on 26th in Hyderabad.

Sources informed Chitraloka about Darshan receiving the award in UK and when inquired it was learnt that some of the members in the sets of Kurukshetra had celebrated after getting to know about it recently.

If sources are to be believed, then Darshan starrer 'Rajaveera Madakari Nayaka' produced by Rockline Venkatesh and directed by senior director S V Rajendra Singh Babu has been postponed and Darshan will be acting in another film to be produced by Rockline Venkatesh.

'Rajaveera Madakari Nayaka' is a historical film based on the life of Madakari Nayaka of Chitradurga. The film is based on a novel by B L Venu and the film was launched in last January. The team has completed a small schedule before lockdown. Director Rajendra Singh Babu planned to continue the shooting in December and had even gone to recce along with the team members.

However, it is being said that the film is likely to be postponed for a further date as the film needs a huge budget and team is of the opinion that it is quite risky to invest huge money post Covid. Instead, the team is planning to do another film with Darshan quickly and resume with 'Rajaveera Madakari Nayaka' in the coming years.

The new film will be produced by Rockline's son Yathish Babu. More details about the film are yet awaited. The film will be launched after the release of 'Robert'.

Actor Darshan who has played a cameo in 'Chauka' is all set to promote the film on Monday. Darshan will be visiting theaters in Gundlupete, Mysore, Mandya and Malavalli. The team of 'Chauka' will be joining him in this promotion.

'Chauka' is a multi starrer film with Prem, Prajwal, Diganth and Vijay Raghavendra playing prominent roles in the film. Aindritha Ray and Deepa Sannidhi, Priyamani and Bhavana Menon are the heroines. The film was released recently to mixed response all over.

Tarun Sudhir brother of actor-director Nandakishore is the director of this film. Five music directors, five cameramen and five dialogue writers have worked for the film.
