Sandalwood's greatest blockbuster KGF is nearing its finish line with the second chapter's shooting. Director Prashant Neel, who has been busy with the shoot in the huge sets erected near Hyderabad has revealed that the updates on the movie will start rolling once the shoot is wrapped up.

Recently, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon finished her part of the shoot while the team is currently busy with the sequences involving Sanjay Dutt and Yash.

The directorial department of KGF had recently shared a photograph of Prashanth while he was seen busy with the writing of script. They go on to appreciate his skills as a writer which is very vital for any director. They wrap it up by sharing that Prashant is first a writer and then a director.

There is talk in the industry that the Telugu version of the Kannada film KGF Chapter 2 starring Yash may be sold for as high as Rs 40 crore. No other Kannada film has come anywhere close. Sources confirmed that this is the asking price by the makers of the Kannada film. The Telugu version will be releasing not only in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana but also in parts of Karnataka. 

While the asking price is Rs 40 crore, the current offer is said to be Rs 30 crore. Even Rs 30 crore will be an all-time record. 

KGF Chapter 1 had become the highest grossing Kannada film ever and had done very good business in Telugu also. The second chapter is expected to be a bigger hit. Many new stars like Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon have joined the cast of Chapter 2. 

There were speculation that Chapter 2 will be ready by April 2020 itself. The extreme date was December 2020. There is no official word from the makers about the Telugu offer or the release date.

KGF Chapter 2, is all set to be bigger than the First Chapter. The makers of the movie is all set to release the film on Oct 23rd 2020. The Mega budget film is lined up for a Dasara release worldwide, which is also a holiday season.

The makers of the movie, took social media platform to announce the release date to fans and cine goers.  The poster gives chills to the fans as the captions says 'May I Come In" with red bloodish background and a Silhoutte of Yash holding a Gun.

Director Prashant Neel has crafted a masterpiece of a film with KGF. The first chapter of the film is a visually stunning gem of a film. It is a bold new film in Sandalwood that goes further than any other film in exploring the stunning magic of film making. It is a visual wonder and the impact the film makes on the viewer continues long after you have watched it. 

Every scene and every shot of the film is filled with stunning visuals. Each of the dialogues are measured and carries weight. Every character is devised with a purpose. 

The film goes back and forth from 1951 to 1981 to 2018. In 2018 an old journalist is narrating the story of a 1980s don. No one is ready to believe him as there is no single evidence to show that he even existed. The journalist's book is also banned. But he reveals a story that stuns everyone. 

A poor orphan boy goes to Bombay to make a livelihood. He grows up to become a don who kills many. He is sent to Bangalore on a task. He fails. Now he has to infiltrate a notorious gold mine controlled by a devilish villain to kill him. Does he succeed? Even if he succeeded he will only unleash bigger demons. 

Yash is stunning and has immense screen presence. He takes the film to another level with his acting. Neel has crafted every character to perfection. Srinidhi has a small presence in this part but makes a big impression. 

On the technical front the film is quite literally the best in Kannada so far. From the camera work to art direction, the film is stunning to say the least. The background score is another masterpiece. Each shot of the film showcases a grand visual. Anyone who watches the film will be tempted to watch it again.

Rocking Star fans will now have to wait till December 21 to witness the release of one of the most expected movie of the year - KGF. The makers of KGF on Wednesday announced that KGF will hit the screens in two chapters, and the first one will be releasing on December 21 worldwide instead of November 16.

Inspired by the trend set by S S Rajamouli's Bahubali series, the KGF's director Prashanth Neel says that KGF starring Rocking Star Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, the actress who makes her debut, and Achyuth Kumar, Malavika along with scores of other newcomers is being made in two chapters. The shoot for the second chapter is half complete, and it will be released in 2019, he adds.

The director also says that he being a great fan of Amitabh Bachchan movies, it helped him create something like KGF.

“Initially there was no plans of making KGF in two chapters, but as the journey continued and the inspiration of Bahubali made us rethink over making it in two chapters. An action thriller, KGF is high on mother's sentiment. It is an universal subject, and hence it is being released in five languages. While Kannada being the original, it will be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu,Tamil and Malayalam,” says the director.

Yash lauded his team's efforts, saying that it was a memorable journey for him to be part of a story which is set in the 1970s, shot in KGF, parts of Mysuru and regions of northern Karnataka. He has shot for over 137 days for the film.

On delay over release, the makers revealed that few leading Bollywood distributors requested to postpone the release to facilitate them to release worldwide on a big scale.

“It has a great content with mother's sentiment involved in it. An audience can watch the movie by even turning off the volume, as the story is very much appealing. The rerecording is being done in Germany, for an enhanced experience,” Yash says.

With a name like Orange what do you expect in a film? Lots of fun of course. And that is what director Prashant Raj, Golden Star Ganesh and the rest of the team provides. Orange is a juicy entertainer that was made to provide laughs and it succeeds completely. 

Santhosh is wrongly convicted for a theft and spends time in jail. On his release he finds himself imprisoned in another kind of jail. Due to mistaken identity he has to play the role of a liver to Radha whose father is the village head. Radha is actually in love with another person. The villain also wants to marry Radha. Out of all this conflicting situation arises the comedy film Orange. 

Ganesh and Priya Anand in the lead roles play their roles to perfection. There is also a very good supporting cast that includes Avinash, Sadhu Kokila and Devgill. Orange has a huge cast that is properly utilised by the director. The story takes several twists and turns for entertainment. 

The director blends the romance story with comedy and family drama and creates a unique film that is worth every penny you pay for. Very good locales, beautiful songs add to the film's value. The cinematography is eye pleasing and editing is perfect. Technically it is a sound film that is made for fans of commercial films. 

Orange is one of the better films of the year and Ganesh and Prashant Raj score full marks for it. Go to the theatres to get entertained.

Well known director Prashanth Neel, who is busy with the post-production of 'KGF 2' is celebrating his birthday today.

Prashanth Neel rose to fame with Murali starrer 'Ugram'. It was Prashanth who gave a fresh lease of life to the actor with the blockbuster 'Ugram'. After that, Prashanth went on to direct 'KGF', which became a milestone in Yash's career. Now Prashanth is busy with the sequel of 'KGF' and is planning to make the film, even more bigger.

Many Sandalwood celebrities including Murali, Vijayakumar Kiragandur and others have wished Prashanth Neel on his birthday. Well known Telugu Production companies like DVV Entertainment and Mythri Movie Makers have also wished the star director a happy birthday.  

Well known music composer Ravi Basrur has started a new Recording Studio in his hometown Basrur in Kundapur Taluk and director Prashanth Neel inaugurated the studio and wished him a huge success.

Ravi Basrur has said that it is the best day in his life. 'My stubbornness of building a dream studio in my hometown came true today and was launched by my mentor Prashanth Neel' tweeted Ravi Basrur. Incidentally, it was Ravi Basrur' s birthday on Friday and the new studio was launched on the same day.

In another tweet he thanked Prashanth Neel and said he is his strength. 'You found me. You trusted Me. You created the spark in me. You are the strength behind what I am. Thanks a lot' said Ravi Basrur in his tweet.

Prashanth Raj who had earlier directed Ganesh starrer 'Zoom' and 'Orange' is all set to score a hatrick. Prashantth Raj has announced another film with Ganesh and the film is likely to start next year.

Thursday (July 02nd) was Ganesh's birthday and on this occasion, Prashanth Raj not only announced the film, but also celebrated the actor's birthday in a simple manner. The director had arranged for a special cake and along with his team went to Ganesh's residence to celebrate his birthday.

Unlike the previous two films, this film will be a thriller and Prashanth is yet to complete the script. Meanwhile, the technical team of earlier films have been retained for this film also. While, S S Thaman will be composing the music, Santhosh Rai Pathaje will be handling the cinematography.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who is playing the role of 'Adheera' in 'KGF 2' has completed his portions on Saturday night. With Sanjay Dutt's shooting completed, the Hyderabad schedule is also complete. One day's patchwork is left and the shooting is likely to complete soon.

The final schedule of 'KGF 2' was started earlier this month with Sanjay Dutt coming over for the climax shooting of the film. The climax shoot was started with well known action director duo Anbariv composing action sequences for the film. After continuous shooting for more than 10 days, Sanjay Dutt's portion in the film was completed.

Yes you read it right. There are two superheroes behind the hero of KGF Yash. Is it really true? Yes of course! Today KGF is on everyone's mouth. The grand film has caught the attention of film buffs everywhere. But Even before Yash's Mr & Mrs Ramachari was released and became a big hit, one person suggested a big budget film with Yash in the lead. 

It was none other than Prashant Neel, the first superhero. He had made a big name for himself with Ugramm and there were many actors who wanted to work with him. KGF was a team effort where everyone's sweat and blood was shed to make a big product. Along with the hero and hundreds of artistes and technicians were these two superheroes who remained behind the screen for most part of it.

Yash will commence shooting for his new film KGF in February. The date is not yet fixed. It will be either on February 1 or February 10, sources said. The film is directed by Prashant Neel who had directed Ugramm earlier.

The film is in the final stages of pre production now. The Muhurat for the film was held months ago. The film is set in Kolar of the 1970s and 1980s. Huge sets are being created in multiple locations for the film which is reportedly being made at a budget of Rs 40 crore, the highest so far for a Kannada film.

After Masterpiece Yash will be acting in a film titled KGF. This film will be directed by Ugramm-fame director Prashanth Neel. The film will start after the completion of Masterpiece in which Yash is currently acting.

The film is said to be inspired from the life of a real person but Neel is not revealing it now. The film is produced by Vijay Kirgandur who earlier produced Puneeth Rajkumar's Ninnindale and currently producing Masterpiece directed by Manju Mandavyya.

Yash starrer 'KGF' which is a blockbuster at the box-office has completed a 50 day run. Even before the completion of 50 days, the film is already streaming in Amazon Prime and the Hindi version of the film will shortly be aired in Sony television.

'KGF' is written and directed by Prashanth Neel who had earlier directed Murali starrer 'Ugram'. This is his second film as a director and the film is produced by Vijaykumar Kiragandur, who had earlier produced 'Rajakumara', 'Ninnindale' and 'Master Piece'.

ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ನೀಲ್ ಅವರ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್`ನ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಎನ್.ರಘುವೀರ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀಲಕಂಠಪುರಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ವಿ.ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನ ಮಗ 50 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಶಾಂ ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಅಮೃತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ನೆನಪಲ್ಲಿ 50 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಇದು ನನಗೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನೀಲಕಂಠಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ವಿಷಯ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ರಘುವೀರ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ.

ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2. ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ದುಬಾರಿ ಬಜೆಟ್‍ನ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಎಷ್ಟಿರಬಹುದು ಅನ್ನೋ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೂ, ಅದು ಮೂರಂಕಿಯ ಮೇಲಿದೆ ಅನ್ನೋದ್ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಮಾನವೇನಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆ, ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ನೀಲ್, ರಾಕಿಭಾಯ್ ಯಶ್, ಸಂಜಯ್ ದತ್, ರವೀನಾ ಟಂಡನ್, ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ರೈ, ಮಾಳವಿಕಾ ಅವಿನಾಶ್, ನಾಗಾಭರಣ, ಅಚ್ಯುತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್.. ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಟರೇ ಇರುವಾಗ.. ಖರ್ಚೂ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ. ಇನ್ನು ಸೆಟ್ಟು, ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕ್ಕು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬೆಸ್ಟ್ ಕ್ವಾಲಿಟಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರೋ ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆಯ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಸಹಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ದೊಡ್ಡದು.

ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 1 ಹಿಟ್ ಆದ ನಂತರ ಯಶ್ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಆದರು. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿರುವಷ್ಟೇ ಕ್ರೇಜ್ ಯಶ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೆಲುಗು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಯ್ತು. ತೆಲುಗಿನ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್ ದೊಡ್ಡದು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನೋಡಿದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು 2 ರಾಜ್ಯ. ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಕ್ರೀನ್‍ಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಗಳಿಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗಳಿಕೆ 35 ಕೋಟಿಯಾದರೆ, ತೆಲುಗು ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್‍ನ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಫಸ್ಟ್ ಡೇ ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ 30 ಕೋಟಿ. ಹೀಗೇಕೆ ಎಂದು ಹುಡುಕಿದರೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಸಿಗೋದು ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸಿಎಂ ಜಗನ್ ಅವರ ಒಂದು ರೂಲ್ಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ. ತೆಲಂಗಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಆಂಧ್ರದ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್ ದೊಡ್ಡದು.

ಆಂಧ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ರೇಟ್ ಅದು ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಲ್ಟಿಪ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್ ಇರಲಿ, 125 ರೂ.ನಿಂದ 250 ರೂ. ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಬೆಲೆ. ಸಿಂಗಲ್ ಸ್ಕ್ರೀನ್ ಥಿಯೇಟರುಗಳ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಬೆಲೆ 70ರಿಂದ 100 ರೂ. ಎಸಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಥಿಯೇಟರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 40 ರೂ.ನಿಂದ 60 ರೂ. ಅಷ್ಟೆ. ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದರೆ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅಂತಹ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಬಜೆಟ್ 100 ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಆ 100 ಕೋಟಿ+ ಬಜೆಟ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರ ಸಂಭಾವನೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೇವಲ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರಬೇಕು.

ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆಂಧ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 250 ರೂ.ಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದರಕ್ಕೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಮಾರಲು ಅವಕಾಶವೇ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ. 250 ರೂ.ಗೆ ಒಂದೂ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಸಿಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಿನಿಮಮ್ 500 ರೂ.ನಿಂದ 2000 ರೂ. ವರೆಗೂ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ದರವಿತ್ತು.

ಇದು ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಗೆ ಲಾಭವಾಗಬಹುದಾದರೂ, ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದಷ್ಟೂ ಫ್ಯಾಮಿಲಿ ಆಡಿಯನ್ಸ್ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದು ವಾಸ್ತವ. ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 5 ಜನರ ಒಂದು ಫ್ಯಾಮಿಲಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠವೆಂದರೂ 3 ಸಾವಿರ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದೇ ಆಂಧ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ 1500 ರೂ.ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಫ್ಯಾಮಿಲಿ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್ ಟ್ರಿಪ್ ಮುಗಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದರಿಂದ ಆಗುವ ಲಾಭವೇನೆಂದರೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನೋಡುವವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ. ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದಷ್ಟೂ.. ಬಿಸಿನೆಸ್ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದಷ್ಟೂ.. ಆಗಲೂ ಲಾಭವಾಗುವುದು ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಗೇ. ಅತ್ತ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರೂ ಖುಷಿ.. ಇತ್ತ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರೂ ಖುಷಿ.

ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮಲ್ಟಿಪ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ದರವನ್ನು 200 ರೂ.ಗೆ ಫಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
